Details: Lucknow Super Giants captain KL Rahul won the toss and elected to bowl first in the eliminator of IPL 2022 against Royal Challengers at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. LSG made 2 changes and Krunal Pandya and Dushmantha Chameera is playing in the place of Jason Holder and K Gowtham.
RCB made one change and they have included Mohammed Siraj in the place of Siddharth Kaul.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored huge 207/4 runs in their 20 overs after batting first. Take a bow, Rajat Patidar! He’s treated us to a special knock today. 112* off 54 balls is one of the great IPL innings as he put the LSG bowlers to the sword, particularly towards the end. RCB smashed 84 off the last five overs, with Karthik playing his part as well. But this was all about one man, who came in after the captain departed for a golden duck and infused life into the innings. Lucknow Super Giants unable to chase the target and scored 193/6 in their 20 overs and lost the game by 14 runs. LSG have been knocked out. RCB stay alive. Patidar had set it up with the bat. And Harshal displayed his A game to ensure the score of 207 was just about enough. On a day when sixes were hit for fun (23), Harshal kept his nerves to deliver four crucial overs in the middle overs and at the death. Hazlewood was phenomenal in the penultimate over as well picking up two crucial wickets and strangulating the chase. Rahul tried hard, Hooda played a little blinder but in the end LSG fell short by 14 runs. Faf rotated his bowlers well and backed them to the hilt. Hooda’s wicket after hitting two sixes was an example of it. RCB’s caravan almost had ended but MI gave them a lifeline and they have earned another one themselves today. LSG will find this loss a little tough to swallow. But as a new franchise they have a solid platform to work on.
