Team India won 3rd T20I against South Africa-cricketmovie.com

KFC T20I Series 2023: Team India registered their biggest win against South Africa and level the series 1-1. They won the game by 106 runs at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

3rd T20I (India Vs South Africa)
Game Date: 14 December 2023
Details:
South Africa skipper Aiden Markram again won the toss and elected to field first in the 3rd and final game of T20I series against Team India at New Wanderers Stadium, Johannesburg. No changes in Team India.

Team India scored huge 201/7 in 20 overs after batting first. SKY mentioned at the toss that he was actually happy to bat first and led by his efforts, India have posted a very good score here. They didn’t get off to an ideal start, Gill was adjudged lbw and missed out on reviewing a decision that would’ve been overturned, Tilak Verma fell the very next delivery and India needed a partnership. SKY joined Jaiswal at the crease and they set about doing just that. Once they settled in, the ball traveled to all parts. Jaiswal eventually holed out for 60 but SKY carried on strong. Rinku Singh added some of his own flair while SKY marched on to another scintillating century – his 4th in T20I cricket. Five wickets fell in those last two overs and that probably just got the momentum flowing in South Africa’s way as the innings closed. While India probably left about 10 runs out there, they won’t be too disappointed. Skipper Suryakumar Yadav scored 100 runs of 56 balls and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 60 runs of 41 balls. For South Africa, Maharaj & Williams picked 2 wickets each.

South Africa unable to chase the target and bowled out for just 95 runs in 13.5 overs. India have annihilated SA. They have hammered SA by 106 runs. SA won the second T20I but India have comeback in some style. SKY set it up with his scintillating ton. But the spinners put the final nail in the coffin with Kuldeep picking up a fifer on his birthday. Only Miller and Markram added a few valubale runs and the others just kept falling one by one. Huge win for India. India might still be fretting over the ankle injury of SKY but they would take this huge win any day. SA were never in the chase as India kept picking up wickets at regular intervals. Only a handful of T20Is left for both teams before the T20 WC in the Caribbean and India would be more elated for sure. They now have multiple options for a few spots and that is a happy problem indeed. David Miller scored 35 runs of 25 balls and skipper Aiden Markram scored 25 runs of 14 balls. For Team India, Kuldeep Yadav picked 5 wickets for 17 runs in his 2.5 overs.
