9 out of 9 for Team India in CWC 23-cricketmovie.com

ICC World Cup 2023: Dominant Team India maintain their unbeaten record in league game. They won the final game by 160 runs against Netherlands at M.Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru. Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

9th Game (India Vs Netherlands)
Game Date: 12th November 2023
Details:
Team India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to bat first in their final league game of ODI World Cup 2023 against South Africa at Eden Gardens, Kolkata. No changes in Indian Team.

Team India scored 410/4 runs in their 50 overs after batting first. Rohit and Gill started off on fast lanes. Dutt was taken to the cleaners. Then one by one, they went after everyone. Kohli started off slowly but managed a fifty. Iyer continued his good run and together with Rahul have managed to almost out-bat Netherlands from this game. They were just relentless. The slower balls were tried but nothing worked. Iyer and Rahul managed to notch up their tons and, in the process, also tore into the bowling attack of the hapless Dutch team. The ball was gripping a little but Indian batter just continued their purple patch. 411 is too farfetched a call for the Dutch unit. They would want to go out on a high, but this peak seems invisible to the naked eye and too insurmountable. Shreyas Iyer scored 128* runs of 94 balls and KL Rahul scored 102 runs of 64 balls. For Netherlands, Bas de Leede picked 2 wicket for 82 runs in his 10 overs quota.

Netherlands unable to chase the target and bowled out for 250 runs in 47.5 overs and lost the game by huge 160 runs. Amidst all the festivities and this game feeling like an exhibition match, it might be easy to forget that this was actually the final league game of a World Cup. The result was never in doubt after the first innings, which saw the top five of India all notch up fifties. Shreyas Iyer and KL Rahul managed to convert those into tons, as India set an unrealistic target of 411. In reply, the bowlers faced a sterner test as the pacers weren’t able to bamboozle the Dutch like we’ve come to almost expect. Barresi fell early, but Max ODowd and Ackermann stitched together a partnership. It needed Kuldeep Yadav to break things up, and then Jadeja struck from the other end. Then the game meandered into boring middle overs territory, and skipper Rohit Sharma decided to use his wrong-footed in swinging menace to entertain the crowds. Virat Kohli, Shubman Gill and SKY chanced their arms, and Kohli managed to get a wicket as well, to send the crowd into delirium. Then, Siraj, Shami, Bumrah and Kuldeep returned to add to their wickets tally. Finally, in what was the icing on the cake, the skipper Rohit Sharma took the ball himself and of course he had to get the wicket of Teja Nidamanuru, who fell after a valiant fifty. Teja Nidamanuru scored 54 of 39 balls and Sybrand Engelbrecht scored 45 runs of 80 balls. For Team India, Jadeja, Kuldeep, Siraj & Bumrah picked 2 wickets each.
