Elvish Yadav becomes the first wild card contestant to have won Bigg Boss. Yes, finally we have the winner of biggest OTT reality show and it’s Elvish Yadav who created record for being first wildcard entrant of Bigg Boss declared as winner by Salman Khan and Abhishek Malhan become runner-up of this show. Elvish bags the trophy along with 25 lakhs prize money. Abhishek Malhan unable to win the show but become most popular contestant of this season as he was continuously trending on twitter. Manisha Rani become 3rd finalist while Bebika Dhurve was in top 4.
The Grand Finale started with a bang with many popular celebrities gracing the show. And finally, the news that everyone has been waiting for. The Grand Finale of Bigg Boss OTT 2 premiered tonight with the top 5 contestants of this season: Manisha Rani, Abhishek Malhan, Bebika Dhurve, Elvish Yadav, and Pooja Bhatt. The Salman Khan-hosted show premiered on June 17 and successfully ran for almost two months.
Before declaring the winner, the top two contestants are asked to pick up their favorite items from inside the house. Then they are called outside in the garden area. Salman Khan builds up the excitement and takes his time to announce the winner. He holds Elvish and Abhishek’s hands and asks them to pray. Finally, after more than 10 minutes, he raises Elvish’s hand and declares him the winner. As Elvish lifts the trophy, he says, “Mein bola tha agar mein jeeta toh ye trophy Abhishek ke haath mein dunga”, then he hands over th trophy to Abhishek. Then he also asks Manisha to join them and lift the trophy.

Talking about Elvish’s journey, this contestant’s journey took everyone by surprise. He entered as a wild card contestant and quickly secured a place for himself and emerged as the strongest contestant. Elvish is a social media influencer and YouTuber who enjoys a massive fan following. His bromance with YouTuber Abhishek Malhan is loved by the viewers. Although he looks calm, on several occasions he has bad-mouthed his fellow contestants. This even led to Salman Khan schooling him in one of the weekend ka vaar episodes. His friendship with first runner-up Abhishek Malhan was widely loved by the Bigg Boss OTT 2 audiences. Even though Elvish Yadav was usually perceived as a calm person, he had often got schooled by host Salman Khan multiple times for losing his cool and using abusive languages on his fellow contestants.
Bigg Boss OTT 2 also known as Bigg Boss: Over-The-Top Season 2, is the second season of the Indian reality digital series Bigg Boss OTT which itself is the spin-off version of Bigg Boss. It premiered on 17 June 2023 on Jio Cinema with Salman Khan as the host. The house design theme, ‘Recycled,’ features an eye structure in the garden area made of plastic water bottles and another eye in the kitchen made of used wooden spoons. Empty egg trays are also placed on a wall in the kitchen area. The theme #StayTogether was unveiled a few days ago along with the promo, and JioCinema revealed the first glimpse of the house on June 15, 2023. For the first time, the house now has a “Vimal Zone” and a “Namkeen Zone”. In this season, contestants on Bigg Boss used a currency called ‘Bigg Boss Currency’ to pay for their needs, with different amounts based on their ranking determined by viewer votes. The BB Currency theme ended on Day 9.

The popular contestant, who is currently on a high after emerging as the winner of Bigg Boss OTT 2, put the rumors that suggested Salman Khan was being biased on the show, to rest. When he was asked if the superstar host was biased on the show as some of the audiences and Bigg Boss analysts suggested, Elvish Yadav denied all those claims straight away. “Yes, he was biased, but towards me,” joked Elvish Yadav, who vehemently denied the reports immediately. “He was not, my friend. He was extremely unbiased. Agar jo cheez hai, wo hai. Jo cheez nahi hai, wo nahi hai (When something is there, it’s there. And when something is not there, it’s not there),” stated the winner, thus putting all the rumors to rest.
Taking to his Instagram handle, Yadav thanked his fans as he wrote on his Instagram Story, “Thankyou #ElvishArmy. It’s your win, it always had been since the start. Elvish Yadav is nothing without you all. I have said it a lot of times, I am saying it again. I don’t deserve this much love, but you guys give me more and more. Can’t thank you all enough for everything. Lo le aaya tumhari trophy. This trophy belongs to #ElvishArmy. Sab tumhara hai, mai bhi tumhara hun. Mere sath rehna bass hmesha. Durgesh Tiwary’s View: The one and only reason to watch Big Boss is Salman Khan for me. I will continue to watch this show till he will continue to be host of this reality show.
Elvish Yadav entered the show as wildcard entrant and not expected that he will win. I was cheering for Abhishek Malhan as he was amazing since beginning. Manisha Rani was also able to entertain throughout.
