Comedian and Rapper Munawar Faruqui is the winner of Bigg Boss 17. Yes, finally we have the winner of biggest TV reality show and it’s none other than Munawar Faruqui who declared as winner by Salman Khan and Abhishek Kumar become runner-up of this show. Not too long ago, the stand-up comedian Faruqui had walked away with the trophy of another interesting reality show Lock Upp Season 1 and now yet again, the contestant has emerged victorious despite the tough competition with TV actor Abhishek Kumar.
The highly anticipated night saw five finalists Ankita Lokhande, Munawar Faruqui, Mannara Chopra, Abhishek Kumar, and Arun Mahshettey battle it out for the coveted title of Bigg Boss 17 Winner. Hosted by Bollywood actor Salman Khan, the grand finale kicked off with electrifying performances and nostalgic moments. To make this event extra special for all the viewers makers several Bollywood celebrities such as Madhuri Dixit, Suniel Shetty, Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan graces the show. The atmosphere was charged with excitement as the finalists geared up for the final showdown. The finalists’ families, friends, and former housemates were present to witness the nail-biting finale, adding an emotional touch.
The stand-up comic, who has always managed to grab attention right from the very beginning, has now lifted the coveted trophy. He not just bagged the honor after keeping up for 15 weeks but will also be taking home a cash prize of Rs 50 lakhs! Along with that, he also took home a Hyundai Creta. He has had one of the most memorable journeys inside the ‘Bigg Boss 17’ house. Right from the very onset, he was under the spotlight. Not just was he strategic, but he was also his hurdles to his advantage. He bared open his life and opened up about his ex-wife and his son. However, just like a mastermind, he concealed those incidents that would attract negative attention. However, Ayesha Khan’s entry was a turning point in his game. It seemed like the fans that he had amassed over the years might change their hearts. Bigg Boss: “Dil, Dimaag aur Dum Ka Game”, also known as Bigg Boss 17 is seventeenth season of the Indian reality TV series Bigg Boss. It premiered on 15th October 2022 and is broadcast on Colors & Jio Cinema. Salman Khan is hosting the season for the Fourteenth time and he is only reason I have started to watch this show. The concept for this season of Bigg Boss was “Dil, Dimaag, and Dum”. The show’s contestants are divided into three groups: “Dil” (Heart), “Dimaag” (Mind), and “Dum” (Strength). The contestants can choose to use any of the three approaches. Bigg Boss will participate in the game, forming alliances and showing favouritism.
For the first time, makers welcomed two married couples and one-ex couple in the show. There was total 17 contestant joined this reality show in the beginning, and I am sharing the list in which they enter in the house this season:

Calling it a ‘life-changing experience, in an interaction, Munawar Faruqui expressed his gratitude towards fans and addressed it as his ‘birthday gift’. He sent across a beautiful message to his fans who voted for him and told us, “Thank you fans for showing your support throughout my journey. Every time I fell, you lent me a helping hand. Trophy Dongri and I have fulfilled my promise to you”. Furthermore, talking about the show, he added, “It’s the biggest show of the country. It is a life-changing experience and it will remain like that forever.” Referring to Lockk Upp, where he was declared a winner too, Munawar revealed that Bigg Boss has had a stronger impact on him. “The show I was part of before this, it was very clear. We had to play against the team and there were very clear rules about the house. Also, it was just for 70 days but this was much longer. So, the experience was very different”.
He was more than happy to reunite with everyone and maintained that he will continue to share a cordial relation with everyone including Ayesha Khan. “I have not had an ugly end with any contestants. Even the fights were very natural, and no one crossed any limits. I think there is no one whose presence I wouldn’t acknowledge if I meet them. Plus, I don’t really keep any grudges like that,” concluded Faruqui.
Durgesh Tiwary’s View: The one and only reason to watch Big Boss is Salman Khan for me. I will continue to watch this show till he will continue to be host of this reality show. I was expecting Ankita Lokhande to win this show since is famous TV star, but she comes 4th and its Munwar Faraqui who won this show. Very surprised to see the progress of Abhishek Kumar as I never thought he will be even in Top 5 but become a runner up despite famous celebrities means set to get multiple offers from producers in future for music album and daily soaps.
