Bigg Boss Season 17 finally premieres on Colors TV and Jio Cinema, and it was nothing less than spectacular and extravagant. It is one of the most popular reality shows of the television history. Salman Khan who is hosting the show from season 4 is back again as host for the 14th time now and he is the main season I liked this show.

This most controversial reality show will be based on the theme of ‘Dil, Dimaag aur Dum’ this time with each one having some special powers. Bigg Boss has also announced that the game will not be the same for everyone as some contestants will be given some special power. Apart from many interesting and new things that audience will get to see this season, the house has a European design. There is no common dining area this season and is incorporated in the respective three bedrooms. Also, Captain’s bedroom and jail are absent. The Confession room is designed in a Greek-Gothic way. The house this season has a total of 110 cameras, the highest among all the seasons.

The reality show will also see contestants, who have been a part of several controversies. The house will feature some very popular couples from the television industry and also single contestants. Now I will share the list of contestants who enters in Bigg Boss house as per their entries:

1. Mannara Chopra

She is the paternal cousin of Priyanka Chopra and Parineeti Chopra. She has acted in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, and Kannada films and became the first contestant to enter the Bigg Boss 17 house. She recently made news when the Thiragabadara Saami director allegedly kissed her forcibly in public. She made a stunning entry as she danced with Salman Khan on Priyanka’s hit song Lal Dupatta.

2. Munawar Faruqui

He is the 2nd second contestant of Bigg Boss 17. Popularly known as Stand-up comedian, Youtuber and rapper. He is the winner of the first season of Lock Upp. The comedian has been in controversies and drama over the years, ranging from his arrests to his undisclosed marriage.

3. Aishwarya Sharma & Neil Bhatt

She is an actress and best known for her role as Patralekha Salunkhe in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin. She is also the 2nd runner-up of Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi 13. She is coming with her husband actor Neil whom she met on the sets of Ghum and fell in love. Instantly, they announced roka and got married later. On the other hand, Neil marked his acting debut with the show “Arslaan.” In 2018, he played Ranveer Singh Vaghela’s antagonist in Roop Mard Ka Naya Swaroop. He played DCP Virat Chavan in Ghum Hai Kisikey Pyaar Meiin from October 2020 to the show’s generation leap in June 2023

4. Navid Sole

UK’s ‘sassy’ pharmacist Navid Sole will be part of the show as an international contestant. Navid is from the UK and claims to be of Italian and Persian origin. As he entered the house, he struggled to speak in Hindi and reminded people of Abdu Rozik. Navid has over 90k followers on Instagram.

5. Anurag Dobhal

Continuing the trend of getting YouTubers and rappers on the show, Bigg Boss makers have roped in popular YouTuber Anurag Dobhal in Bigg Boss 17. Anurag Dobhal, popularly known as UK07 Rider is a moto vlogger and social media influencer. He started his career as a Youtuber in January 2018 and enjoys a 7.21M YouTube subscribers. His popularity is just not restricted to YouTube. Anurag is also friends with previous Bigg Boss winner Elvish Yadav.

6. Sana Raees Khan

She is a lawyer by profession and known for being involved in Sheena Bora murder and Aryan Khan drug case. She joined the show last minute after former Miss India actor Manasvi Mamgai backed out.

7. Jigna Vora

She is a former Indian journalist, who became a household name in recent times owing to a web show made on her life. Her controversial life was portrayed by Karishma Tanna and Jigna Vora came into limelight once again. Her biographical memoir Behind Bars in Byculla: My Days in Prison inspired the 2023 web series. She was falsely accused of having a connection in the murder of journalist Jyotirmoy Dey and was booked under MCOCA. Currently, she is into tarot card reading.

8. Vicky Jain & Ankita Lokhande

They are 2nd couple of this season and most talked contestants as Ankita is very popular television actress. While the couple has always been vocal about their relationship, this is the first time they will be on a show together. Given Ankita’s straightforward personality, she’s a perfect casting for Bigg Boss but it would be interesting to see her compete with her husband in tow.

9. Soniya Bansal

She is from Agra and started her career as model and made her Bollywood debut with Shakti Kapoor’s film ‘Game 100 Crore Ka’ other than that she has also done south Indian film Dheera where she had an important character. Apart from this, Soniya has been part of several music videos for well-known labels. She was also part of the web show ‘Shoorveer’ where she played the role of Rimi Choudhary.

10. Firoza Khan

Also known as Khanzaadi, she is a rapper and a singer, who has constantly impressed fans with her singing skills. Feroza was seen on rapping based show Hustle 2.0, where she competed against some of the most popular rapper and singers. As per reports, she is the girlfriend of Bigg Boss OTT 2 Jad Hadid.

11. Sunny Arya

Also known as Tehelka Bhai, Sunny Arya hails from New Delhi. The renowned comedian is best known for his funny videos on his YouTube channel, Tehelka Prank. He joined the industry in 2019 and gained quite a lot of popularity during covid. He is often seen helping underprivileged people.

12. Rinku Dhawan

In over a two-decade long journey in showbiz, Rinku Dhawan has been a part of shows such as Yeh Vaada Raha, Gupta Brothers, Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha amongst others. She was married to television actor Kiran Karmakar with whom she starred in ‘Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii’ and played his on-screen sister. It was in 2017, they called it quits and went their separate ways. Since then, Rinku has been raising her son as a single mother. She was recently seen in the TV show, Titli.

13. Arun Srikanth Mahashetty

YouTuber and gamer. Also known as Achanak Bhayanak. With over 602k followers on Instagram, Arun is one of the popular content creators from Hyderabad.

14. Abhishek Kumar

He is television actor. Best known for his role as Amrik Singh Virk in Udaariyaan. During Udaariyaan, there were speculations about Abhishek and Isha being in a relationship. The pair frequently shared mushy videos on social media and were often seen in each other’s company, fueling dating rumors. Nevertheless, both actors refuted the dating rumors and referred to each other as close friends.

15. Isha Malviya

She is television actress. Best known for her role as Jasmine Sandhu in Udaariyaan. Isha was just 13 years old, when she embarked on her modeling journey and took part in various beauty pageants. These competitions included ‘Miss Madhya Pradesh’ in 2017, ‘Shaan of Madhya Pradesh’ in 2018, ‘Miss LNCT Open Competition’, ‘Miss Teen Icon India, Bhopal’ in 2018, and ‘Miss Teen India Worldwide,’ where she was the 2nd runner-up in 2019.

I am supporting Munawar Faruqui, Neil Bhatt, Ankita Lokhande & Isha Malviya initially in this season and seeing them as winner because all three of them are very popular faces of TV industry with great fan following.
