In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in August 2021 on OTT and Cinemas. When situation started to seem better and filmmakers decided to release films in theatres, the number of coronavirus cases in the country have started to rise again. This has further compelled makers to rethink releasing their films in theatres. Some of them have already delayed the releases.

Now again situation is getting better so we may have few releases and for the first time after few months gap 3 movies are set to releasing in this month. One of the most awaited movie Bell Bottom starring Akshay Kumar is finally scheduled to release on 19th August after getting postponed thrice. It will have now clash with Hollywood movie F9: The Fast Saga which will release in India same day. Another Hollywood movie The Suicide Squad will release on 6th August.

This is also a biggest release for OTT as well as big films like Bhuj and Shershaah will release on OTT. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema halls after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It is almost certain audiences will get more movies and web-series on OTT due to current situation and they can watch per their choices onwards.
