Team India scored 211/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. They have posted a total that will test Pakistan on a pitch offering plenty of turn and bounce. After a fiery start, India looked on track to cross 250, but a middle-overs slowdown threatened to cap their momentum. However, a late onslaught from Tilak Varma pushed them past the 200-run mark. Pakistan didn’t help themselves in the field, gifting crucial lifelines through dropped catches and missed run-out opportunities. It’s a steep mountain to climb for the chase, as Pakistan now face a disciplined Indian attack on a surface tailored for spin. Abhishek Sharma scored 61 runs of 28 balls and Tilak Varma scored 51* runs in 22 balls. For Pakistan, Ahmed Daniyal & Arafat Minhas picked 2 wickets each.

Pakistan unable to chase the target and scored 192/6 runs in 20 overs and lost the game by 19 runs. They fought their way back into the contest and looked set to restrict them to around 180-190. But the 62-run stand for the sixth wicket proved to be the difference, taking India past 200 and giving them the cushion they needed in the end. Pakistan could not match India’s powerplay effort. They lost a couple of wickets early and managed just 39 in the first six overs. Hasan Nawaz, dropped on 4, then gave Pakistan hope with an 87-run partnership with Saim Ayub. Nawaz kept going even after Ayub’s departure, taking the game deep and bringing the equation down to 52 from the final 3 overs. But India held their nerve when it mattered. Washington bowled an excellent 18th over, before Bumrah conceded just 11 in the 19th to leave Dube with 33 to defend in the final over. The all-rounder kept his composure and got the job done. Chasing 212 was never going to be easy, but Nawaz’s brilliant 96 ensured Pakistan stayed in the contest and caused a few jitters in the Indian camp. In the end, though, India held on to seal another win over Pakistan is their seventh straight victory over them in this format. Skipper Hasan Nawaz scored 96 runs of 51 balls and Saim Ayub score 29 runs of 22 balls. For Team India, Axar Patel, Shivam Dube and Washington Sundar picked 2 wickets each.
