Rajasthan Royals scored huge 214/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. A late onslaught from Ferreira has pushed RR to a decent total. It was a different Sooryavanshi on display today as he played a matured innings but was unlucky not to get a ton. GT crawled their way back into the game in the middle overs, but Sooryavanshi had other plans as he attacked towards the end of the innings with some meaty blows. He was well supported by Jadeja, who came back after being retired hurt and ended unbeaten on 45. It’s a tricky target to chase for GT as it’s a sticky wicket, and their openers will have their task cut-out. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 96 runs of 47 balls and Ravindra Jadeja scored 45* runs in 35 balls. For Gujarat Titans, Kagiso Rabada & Jason Holder picked 2 wickets each.

Gujarat Titans chased the target by scoring 219/3 in 18.4 overs and won the game by 7 wickets. They have chased down 214 with remarkable authority to book their place in the final. And once again, it was the opening partnership that laid the foundation. How many times have Gill and Sai Sudharsan done this over the last couple of seasons? Faced with the challenge of Jofra Archer in a knockout game, they chose to counterattack rather than sit back. Once they got through that early phase, there was no looking back. The powerplay yielded 69 runs and immediately put Gujarat ahead of the game. Gill then shifted through the gears in the middle overs and played some breathtaking strokes to completely take the contest away from Rajasthan. He brought up a magnificent hundred and all but sealed the chase. Sudharsan’s unusual run of dismissals continued as he was out hit wicket for the second successive game, while Gill too departed shortly after reaching his century. But by then the damage had been done. Buttler, Washington and Tewatia calmly completed the formalities and took GT home with 8 balls to spare. Earlier, Rajasthan Royals would have felt they had posted a winning score, thanks largely to Vaibhav Sooryavanshi’s stunning 96. But Gill’s masterclass and the 167-run opening stand proved decisive. Skipper Shubman Gill scored 104 runs of 53 balls and Sai Sudharsan score 58 runs of 32 balls. For Rajasthan Royals, Jofra Archer, Nandre Burger and Brijesh Sharma picked 1 wicket each.
Out of the park, a win in the bag 👊@gujarat_titans reach the final in a sublime fashion 🤩💙
