Your Honor Season 2 Review: Initial phase of this crime drama is gripping but lost the momentum at the end
Your Honor Season 2 Web Series Rating: 2.5 Stars

Just watched Your Honor Season 2 web series on Sony LIV. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Cast: Jimmy Sheirgill, Mahie Gill, Gulshan Grover, Zeishan Quadri, Mita Vashisht, Pulkit Makol, Richa Pallod and Kunj Anand
Director: E Niwas
Release Date: 26th November 2021 (Sony LIV)
Duration: 10 Episodes/ 35 Minutes

Story: The first season of Your Honor saw how the upright and strict district court judge Bishan Khosla (Jimmy Sheirgill) is compelled to break every law in the book to save his son, 18-year-old Abeer (Pulkit Makol) after he runs down a gangster with his car. The season ended with Khosla gunning down that gangster and Abeer surrendering to the police.

This season of picks up threads from the previous one and finely weaves in strong emotions for a man’s love for his family, his desire for vengeance and his unsettling anguish. In this one too, the story unfolds in Ludhiana. After learning that Satnam Mudki was the cause of his wife’s suicide, Bishan shot him. This enrages Satnam’s father Satbir (Mahabir Bhullar) and younger brother Harman Mudki (Kunj Anand) who are eager to take revenge on the father-son duo by any means necessary.

There are entry of two new members of another gang Gurjot (Gulshan Grover) and Yashpreet (Mahie Gill) who are running the nightclub. And the initial face-off between these antagonists and Bishan makes it evident that stakes are higher for him this time around. There are too many subplots running parallel to Bishan’s efforts to safeguard his position as soon-to-be High Court judge and his son from Mudki’s, Bhaiyya log aka Pandit gang and others who only want to harm them or benefit from him being a judge.

Bishan Khosla has been asked to paid high amount as ransom to save his son Abeer from Mudki’s. On the other hand his sister-like figure Indu (Richa Pallod) is abducted and forcibly married to gangster Jagda (Zeishan Quadri) who is younger brother of Pandit and now running the Pandit Gang. And his old enemy, inspector Kiran Sekhon (Mita Vashisht) is back on duty. With his back to the wall, Khosla’s world slowly seems to be falling apart. How Judge Sahab will handle this situation is all about this series.

Positives
1. Excellent Performances
2. Climax
3. Screenplay
4. Cinematography

Negatives
1. Story
2. Direction
3. Stretched
4. Length

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I have watched the trailer of this series planned to watch on release day because have watched the first season and it was excellent. First 5 episodes premiere on 19th November and 6-10 episodes released on 26th November.

After Judge Bishan Khosla shoots Satnam who is son of ganglord Satbir Mudki, he finds himself in serious trouble, not only with his family but also with fellow gangsters on their side. When the game of revenge begins, everyone tries to profit from the situation, and the lives of the judge and his son suffer as a result.

It is official adaptation of Israeli series Kvodo. I have not watched the original series but loved the first season and first half of second season. Last half of this season unable to justify the season because there are multiple characters and stretched screenplay bored as an audience. In the climax there is a cliffhanger that indicates that there will be 3rd season so interesting to see how story unfolds further when judge Bishan Khosla is died. My View on this web-series Recommended only if you have watched the first season and big fan of Jimmy Sheirgill.
