Rajasthan Royals bowled out for 185 runs in their 20 overs. Usually, you see the batting team steal runs for fun in the death overs, but Punjab have conceded just 21 runs in the last 4 overs and taken as many as six wickets. Wow! When Lomror was going great guns, 200 looked quite easy and Punjab delivered some great punches to bowl their opponents out for just 185. That smile after the final wicket from KL said it that he doesn’t mind this total on this pitch after the start the Royals got. Evin Lewis on a debut for Royals was great to watch. Punjab Kings unable to chase the target and scored 183/4 in their 20 overs and lost the game by just 2 runs in thrilling last overs. At one time they just needed 12 runs in 17 balls with 8 wickets in hand still they messed up and lost the game. They are most unfortunate team in the IPL history. How do the Kings keep doing this again and again and again? But spare a thought for young Tyagi. With hardly anything to defend in the final over, he stuck to his guns and bowled brilliantly. The Kings still should have gotten those four runs though. The chase was set up by the openers, KL and Mayank both taking turns at bossing the bowling, and it looked like one-way street even after they got out. Markram and Pooran seemed to have gotten the job done well seemed to have is the right expression, because they didn’t. A thrilling game of cricket and you’d think that it was much-needed for the IPL after the way the previous two games went.
