Vivo IPL: KKR beat RCB by 4 wickets in play-off eliminator Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

Eliminator (Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Game Date: 11th October 2021

Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat first in the play-off eliminator game of IPL 2021 against Kolkata Knight Riders. No change in their playing XI. Their four foreign players of this game are Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, Daniel Christian and George Garton.

No changes in KKR playing XI as well. Their four foreign players of this game are Sunil Narine, Sakib-Al Hasan, Eoin Morgan and Lockie Ferguson.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 138/7 in their 20 overs. If you’re willing to forget that this pitch has a bit of shine, forget the kind of start RCB had in the powerplay, forget the fact that KKR’s bowlers were absolutely on the money at the death, 138 looks only slightly under-par. But see it context of the momentum shift, and Kolkata would be extremely pleased. Once again it’s been their spinners who’ve brought in the choke, drying up the runs in the middle overs and undoing the powerplay damage. And among the spinners, Sunil Narine takes the cake. Picking four wickets is rare enough, but when those wickets include those of Kohli, Maxwell and AB, you know you’ve struck gold. Right, there isn’t a lot of dew as yet, and Bangalore would need to make quick inroads. Skipper Virat Kohli scored 39 of 33 balls and Devdutt Padikkal scored 21 of 18 balls. For KKR Sunil Narine pick 4 wickets for 21 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Kolkata Knight Riders successfully chase the target and scored 139/6 in 19.4 overs and won the game by 4 wickets. A night that belonged to Sunil Narine sinking RCB with a brilliant performance with both ball and bat. Kohli, de Villiers, Maxwell, all nipped out in a spell that read 4-0-21-4. The pitch wasn’t the easiest, it seemed slow and two-paced. And RCB seemed to be in the game while defending 139, until Narine once again came out to spell doom for their hopes of a maiden IPL title. He smashed his first three balls for six, pretty much killing the game. Things got a little tense towards the end with the game going into the final over, but Shakib got the crucial boundary off the first ball and there could’ve been only one winner from there. Shubman Gill scored 29 of 18 balls and Sunil Narine scored 26 of 15 balls. For RCB Siraj, Patel and Chahal picks 2 wickets each.

RCB: 138/7 in 20 Overs
