Chennai Super Kings scored 210/7 in their 20 overs. On a great batting wicket with lots of dew to aid them, CSK have got 210. They should be happy with the score. It was set up by Uthappa at the top with a whirlwind 50 and complemented by quick cameos from Mo, Rayudu and Dube. Jadeja and Dhoni provided the finishing touches. The dew did not help the bowlers at all and Chameera both with the ball and on the field had a shocker. Comical at times as the ball kept following him. Ravi Bishnoi for LSG stood out with his quicker lengths and variations of the googly. He finished with an economy of 6rpo on a track when the others went well over 9 shows what a fine performance it was. LSG will fancy chasing this down with the batting they have. Robin Uthappa scored 50 of 27 balls and Shivam Dube scored 49 of 30 balls. For LSG Ravi Bishnoi pick 2 wickets for 24 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Lucknow Super Giants chased down the target successfully in 20th over by scoring 211/4 and won the game by 6 wickets. What an outstanding run chase by LSG. 210 seemed good, but with no Deepak Chahar and some raw bowlers at IPL level and dew, this wasn’t a big deal to be honest. They just had to pace the chase well and KL and Quinny set a solid base. Their start ensured CSK could not use Pretorius and Bravo at the very fag end. Such a belter of a batting wicket and it’s a pity that the Uthappa assault goes in vain. On these red soil and Mumbai pitches in general, you need 230 to be safe with dew against strong batting line-ups if you don’t get early wickets. Mukesh, Tushar and Dube three very raw bowlers at this level in this pressure, but CSK is a team that won’t panic and let these experiences mould players. CSK did come back after 10 overs with some wickets, but Lewis at four was a masterstroke. He struggled against Pretorius but held fort and smashed every bowler at will. Ayush Badoni living up to the tag of “Baby AB” was so good to watch. Showed great composure under pressure. For CSK, the experience of both the Dwa(i)ynes took this game deep, the inexperience of the rest cost the game. Quinton de Kock scored 61 runs of 45 balls and Evin Lewis also 55* runs of 23 balls. For CSK Dwaine Pretorius pick 2 wickets for 31 runs in his 4 overs quota.
