India beat Pakistan in T20 World Cup 2026-cricketmovie,com

T20 World Cup 2026: Team India qualify for the Super 8 after beating Pakistan by 61 runs at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

3rd T20I (India Vs Pakistan)
Game Date: 15th February 2026
Details:
Pakistan skipper Salman Agha won the toss and elected to field first 3rd T20I game against Team India at R.Premadasa Stadium, Colombo. Two changes in India’s playing XI and Abhishek Sharma & Kuldeep Yadav is included in the place of Sanju Samson and Arshdeep Singh.

Team India scored 175/7 in their 20 overs after batting first. Is it under par? Tell you what, it gripped the surface a fair bit when the spinners bowled into the wicket so this could well be just above par one feels. Pakistan will have to bat extremely well to win this game, and it won’t be easy against Varun and Kuldeep. Axar and even Abhishek can spring a surprise too. Ishan Kishan played a blinder of an innings to be honest. India made 52 in the powerplay, and he smashed 42 of them himself. If not for his bold cricket, India could have finished around 160ish as the other batters found the going tough. Tilak played second fiddle to Ishan in that 87-run partnership. SKY and Tilak nudged around to drag this innings deep, but Saim Ayub dismissed Tilak and Hardik off successive balls to put the brakes. Dube and SKY again had to nudge around before Dube managed a few timely hits. Rinku had a good finish in the end of Shaheen. Usman Tariq might not have taken a lot of wickets, but he made it so tough for the batters to score, and Saim was outstanding with his variations. Pakistan will be disappointed with Shaheen and Shadab leaking runs. They would have ideally wanted to chase a score around 160. Ishan Kishan scored 77 runs of 40 balls and skipper Suryakumar Yadav scored 32 runs of 29 balls. For Pakistan, Saim Ayub picked 3 wickets for 25 runs in his 4 overs.

Pakistan failed to chase the target and bowled out for 114 runs in 18 overs and lost the game by 61 runs. After all the hullabaloo and the unreal drama before this game, the action has been one-sided. Pakistan no match to this Indian side. Many expected a close contest since this was at RPS and in conditions which suited spin. Pakistan had 5 of them and they were confident going into this. But all that was torn apart by Pakistan’s inept performance with bat. They brainlessly tried to take on Bumrah in the powerplay and lost two wickets in one over of his. Immediately they were on the back foot and more shoddy batting followed. On long square boundaries and against fine Indian spinners, they attempted to slog their way and paid the price. Only Usman Khan played well and once he went, the game was all but over from a Pakistani viewpoint. Yet another ICC event, so much off field hungama, so much anticipation for this game. And the eventual result is an easy Indian win. We have seen this movie many times before. Usman Khan scored 44 of 34 balls and Shaheen Afridi scored 23* runs of 19 balls. For Team India, Bumrah, Pandya, Varun and Axar picked 2 wickets each.

IND: 175/7 in 20 overs
PAK: 114 all out in 18 overs
