India Legends scores 195/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. India has very poor start and lost the wicket of Sachin Tendulkar on the 1st ball of the match and Suresh Raina in the 3rd over. Naman Ojha was very careful in the beginning and Sachin plays a masterstroke and send Vinay Kumar who scored 36 runs in 21 balls and laid the platform. Yuvraj was next up on crease and he hit some delightful shots and formed a partnership with Ojha before got out. Meanwhile Naman become the second batter in RSWS history to score a century and peeled off 108 not out which is the highest individual total by any batter across the two seasons of the tournament. Naman Ojha scored 108* of 71 balls and Vinay Kumar scored 36 of 11 balls. For Sri Lanka Legends Nuwan Kulasekara picks 3 wickets for 29 runs in his 3 overs.

Sri Lanka Legends unable to chase the target and bowled out for 162 runs in their 18.5 overs and lost the final by 33 runs. India Legends bowlers then put up a combined display, reducing their opponents to 41/4 in 7.5 Overs. A brief recovery followed which was halted by the dismissal of Gunaratne on 19. However, Ishan Jayaratne and Mahela Udawatte joined hands to lead a late revival and raise the hopes in their team’s dug-out. Jayaratne struck a quick-fire fifty while Udawatte made 26 off 19. However, Vinay Kumar landed two wickets in as many deliveries in the 19th over to end Sri Lankan hopes. Ishan Jayaratne scored 51 of 22 balls and Mahela Udawatte scored 26 of 19 balls. For India Legends Vinay Kumar pick 3 wickets for 38 runs in his 3.5 overs.
