Story: Based on short stories by Satyajit Ray Netflix presents stories from a satire to a psychological thriller. The anthology follows four stories with life-changing encounters and divine interventions.
First story of this anthology titled as Forget Me Not and this thriller directed by Srijit Mukherji. Story follows abput Ipsit Rama Nair (Ali Fazal) who is a celebrated entrepreneur and what led to his downfall. Known as the human-computer Ipsit never forgets anything but it all changes when a random girl Rhea Sharan (Anindita Bose) approaches him at a restaurant claiming that they spent an entire week together two years ago in Aurangabad. He soon beings to notice memory lapses and slowly loses his mind but the real reason behind his undoing is her reckless behavior towards the people close to him.
Second story of this anthology is titled as Bahrupiya which is also directed by Srijit Mukherji. The whole plot revolved around being a man who is tired of living a life of a nobody. A nobody to his employer, a nobody to his lover and a nobody to the rest of the world. Indrashish (Kay Kay Menon) is a makeup artist in Kolkata with a good heart. But after being put down by the world all his life, he decides to take matters in his own hands. While he plots revenge upon the ones who make his life hell, he meets Peer Baba (Dibyendu Bhattacharya). In an effort to mock the divine power, his true enemy, Indrashish takes the fight to Peer Baba.
Third story of this series is titled as Hungama Hai Kyun Barpa and it is directed by Abhishek Chaubey. A kleptomaniac turned Ghazal singer Musafir Ali (Manoj Bajpayee) who once stole wrestler turned sports journalist Baig’s (Gajraj Rao) watch which he called khushbhakt. However while travelling from Bhopal to Delhi by train they meet each other after a decade and one of them clearly forgets the other. How khushbhakt comes back into their lives and changes the whole situation will leave you on the edge of the seat but with a laugh.
Fourth and final story of this series is titled as Spotlight and it is directed by Vasan Bala. This is weakest story among all. It is the story of a star Vikram Malhotra (Harshvardhan Kapoor) who has become a sensation just for his one trademarked look. He loves to be in the spotlight but that’s soon snatched by a religious leader Didi (Radhika Madan). Coincidentally living in the same hotel, Didi’s powers give Vikram a reality check of what he is. What happens when they both meet?

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer planned to watch this series in my free time because trailers looks unique, engaging and star-cast.
From a satire to a psychological thriller, four short stories from celebrated auteur and writer Satyajit Ray are adapted for the screen in this series. Excellent performances and heart-wrenching climax are main USP of this series. Fourth and last story Spotlight is weakest story among all and also very lengthy and after some you may want to finish this one in rapid way.
Overall each story in Ray deserves to be a feature film to explore all that the original writing represents. However if anything Hungama Hai Kyon Barpa and Forget Me Not are most recommended of the lot, not only for the performances, but also the unique storytelling.. My view on this web-series Time Pass
