India scores 336/6 in their 50 overs after batting first. A fluid batting performance by India after being put in. The start wasn’t ideal for them, with Dhawan nicking behind and Rohit throwing away a start. But Kohli and Rahul combined for a steadily-paced century stand to put things on track. Rahul didn’t miss out though, and crafted a superb ton. The platform was set for India’s power hitting duo of Pant and Hardik. The southpaw began the onslaught and smashed seven sixes his 40-ball assault while Hardik’s late flurry added to England’s woes. The visitors’ bowling lacked tooth, with only Topley redeeming himself, and if not for his spell at the death, the total could have been a lot more. KL Rahul scored 108 of 114 balls and Rishabh Pant scored 77 of 40 balls. For England Topley and Tom Curran pick 2 wickets each.
Innings Break!#TeamIndia post a formidable total of 336/6 on the board. @klrahul11 and @imVkohli laid the foundation before @RishabhPant17 and @hardikpandya7 went absolutely ballistic!

England chased down the target successfully and scored 337/4 in 43.3 overs. Chasing 337, England went into the final 10 overs with an asking rate of 2 rpo or thereabouts. Yes, you read it right. That’s how easily they swatted this challenge aside. Bairstow and Roy set it up with another century stand that was broken by an unfortunate run out and a great piece of fielding. If India thought they had a chance, they were in for a rude shock. England were always cruising even before this happened but this phase ensured that the result was a foregone conclusion. Despite a mini-collapse thereafter. The damage had already been done. India will probably have wanted another 20-30 runs because the pitch was such a lovely batting beauty, and the dew just made it much more easier.Jonny Bairstow scored 124 of 112 balls and Ben Stokes scored 99 of 52 balls. For India Prasidh Krishna pick 2 wickets for 58 runs in his 10 overs.
England win the 2nd @Paytm #INDvENG ODI by six wickets & level the series. #TeamIndia will be looking to make amends & win the decider to seal a series win.
