November Story Review: This crime thriller will keep you involved in the guessing game throughout the series.

Just watched November Story web series on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP. So let’s analyze the cast, release date, story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this web series.

Story: Series begins with a freak road accident during one rainy night on November 1995. It is a horrific scene with dead bodies strewn all over the place. There seem to be no survivors except for a little girl, who is weeping inconsolably. Cut to present-day in 2018 Chennai, we meet Anuradha Ganesan (Tamannaah) and her Alzheimer’s-affected crime-novelist father Ganesan (GM Kumar).
She needs money to fund his treatment, so she decides to sell a dilapidated family property, which she can’t do without the consent of Ganesan and he is hell-bent on preventing the sale of the property at any cost. She has to divide her time between an increasingly demanding situation at home and her job as an ethical hacker in a high-profile government project who is won by his friend Malar (Vivek Prasanna).
One day when her father was missing from home she finds him in their old house, with a woman in a pool of blood. Anu knows that her father wouldn’t have done it but evidence was against him. She vows to save her father from the murder allegation as she feels he had nothing to do with the murder and painted the dead body of woman to misguide the investigating officer Sudalai (Aruldass).
There is another story about a child, Kulandhai Yeshu (Pasupathy) raised in a hospital by a Nun after his mother died during giving birth to him. He is then separated from the Nun and is very depressed about the same. Then finally, the death of the Nun gives his life the most significant setback, and he vows to become a surgeon like the Nun. But despite being a perfect student, he could not become a general surgeon because of the defect in his hands, so he becomes a surgeon who postmortems bodies.
Yeshu was also the same surgeon who postmortem the dead body of women found in Anu home. At the same time Three boys from Hyderabad, who are accused of raping a woman escaped to Chennai. Among them, one is seen hacking the FIR records from the office in which Anus works. These boys are also in constant contact with a woman who is with a mentally disabled girl.
All the three stories are interrelated to each other and have one similarity in between them, which is 16th November. These trails and sub-stories lead to the climax of November Story before it goes through a series of twists and revelations.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer planned to watch this series in my free time due to intriguing trailer because it was released Hindi dubbed as well.
A famous novelist suffering from Alzheimer’s disease is found at a crime scene with no recollection of what occurred. It’s his daughter’s job to rescue him now. Could she pull it off?
Every episode begins with a black-and-white/sepia-tinted flashback before travelling forward in time. It has a few strong ideas. The main premise is itself is intriguing: a man with a memory problem is found at a murder scene and it falls on his daughter’s shoulder to get to the bottom of the truth and save her father from going to jail. For the first time, we get a close look at the life of the doctors who perform post-mortems. It is not an easy job as it is both physically and emotionally taxing.
The story has the potential to be converted into a taut thriller. But, the paper-to-screen translation did not work in his favor. Every character has a back story and is well-developed. Yet, the story has major logical loopholes that put you off. Series is a significant improvement compared to the current Tamil daily soaps on television. If you are fan crime thrillers then this series is for you. My view on this web-series Recommended !!
