Bollywood has a good 2019 and years end with a bang as its last released movie Good Newwz is doing excellent business. With 2020 is all around the corner everyone is excited for movies releasing in the first month of 2020. Cinema lovers will have many choices this month.
You can consider month of January as clashes of month. There are total 12 movies releasing this month, which have 5 Fridays including two big clashes for which all audiences are waiting for. I do not remember when so many movies released in the month of January.
January month does not term the best month for movie release because of cold weather in North India and parents do not prefer his month because of their children examination. However, years after this perception has changed and now producers are ready to release their movies.
I am sharing the list of movies, which are going to release in month of January with their release dates:
3rd Januard 2020
It is a romantic comedy movie, which is direct by Karan Vishwanath Kashyap, and Star cast of this movie Akshaye Khanna, Riva Kishan (Daugther of Ravi Kishan) and Priyank Sharma (Son of Padmini Kolhapure).
Movie was schedule to release in Nov last month but postponed for unknown reasons and it is now going to release on 3 January. It is a drama comedy that is directed by Sneha Taurani and star cast of this movie is Sunny Kaushal (Brother of Vicky Kaushal), Rukshar Dhillon and Shriya Pilgaonkar.
Much delayed movie finally gets a release date. This movie as announced in 2014 itself but due to unknown reasons it was postpone repeatedly. Now it is releasing on 3 January. It is romantic comedy movie, which is direct by Ramesh Sippy who is directing a movie after 25 years. Movie stars are Hema Malini, Raj Kummar Rao and Rakul Preet Singh.
10th January 2020
This is period drama movie, which is 100th movie of superstar Ajay Devgn. It is releasing in 3D and co-stars Kajol and Saif Ali Khan and Om Raut directs this movie. It is one of the most anticipated movie of 2020 and trade is expecting 200 crores from it.
Deepika Padukone and Vikrant Massey starrer movie is real life story acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. Meghna Gulzar directs this movie and her last released Raazi was very successful. Expectations from this movie is also very high.
Rajnikant starrer movie is releasing one day earlier 9 January in Hindi language also, which co-stars Nayanthara and Sunil Shetty. A.R Murugadoss one of the famous south Indian director is directing this movie. It is consider as one of the biggest clash of year 2020.
17th January 2020
It is comedy movie, which stars Sunny Singh, Sonnalli Seygall, Poonam Dhillon, and Supriya Pathak. Navjot Gulati directs this movie. Movie is produce by big banner Luv Films and T-series together. Only Friday where only one movie is releasing. Ae Kaash Ke Hum may release on the same day but since no trailer is release until now so we can expect a delay.
24th January 2020
Remo Dsouza directs this dance movie was postpone, as earlier its release date was November 8. Movie is releasing in 3D and it stars Prabhu Deva, Varun Dhawan, Shraddha Kapoor and Nora Fatehi.
It is second big clash of this month and year. Movie stars Kangana Ranaut, Jassi Gill, Richa Chadha and Neena Gupta. Ashwani Ayer Tiwari directs this movie. Movie is produce by Fox Star Studios and audience can choice any of two or both movie in this Republic day.
31st January 2020

This movie was also schedule to release in 2019 but due to unknown reasons movie is now release on 31 January. Movie is direct by Nitin Kakkar and stars Saif Ali Khan, Tabu and debutant Alia Furniturewala (Daughter of Pooja Bedi).
Another delayed movie of Himesh Reshmiya starrer delayed and will release on 31 January. Movie is in headlines because of its music and singing sensation Ranu Mondal (singing a railway station of Ranaghat for her living) makes her singing debut with this movie. Himesh gave her chance after watching a viral video.
