Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer planned to watch this series because of it’s story and engaging trailer.
The story begins with amusing attempts of twelfth-grader, Kunal to woo his classmate Tara. Kunal finally manages to propose to Tara and their love story begins. After his schooling, heleaves Indore and moves to Mumbai to join a Naval College. Soon his sober life turns upside-down when Tara dumps him for someone else. In no time, Kunal turns into an alcoholic and chain smoker, and without taking admission in the naval college, he moves to a weird rundown room in Darukhana spending days doing nothing but drinking, smoking, and missing Tara. Will Kunal ever move on from Tara? Or will this be a heart-wrenching story of a one-sided lover?
The first 4 episodes of this series goes on another level. screenplay is divided into two parts: one concentrates on a high-school love tale, and the other, highlights the current state of the lead character, who is dealing with the aftermath of betrayal. The representation of teenage romance is charming and adorable, but the episodes about Kunal’s heartbreak drag on. With long-drawn montages of Kunal consuming alcohol and burning cigarettes, with retro songs as its backdrop, the show chugs along.
While there are many episodes in this nine-part series that keep you engaged, there are some that totally drop pace and you find yourself waiting to skip to the next episode. This nine-part series does bring up the debate, however briefly, on the socially accepted rules of commitment and faithfulness in a relationship, which are often drastically different for both the sexes. My view on this web-series Time Pass only you like one sided love stories and please don’t watch with your family !!
