Due to rain game was reduced for 12 overs. Revised conditions of the game is 4-over powerplay and two bowlers can bowl a maximum of 3 overs each.
Ireland scored 108/4 runs in their 12 overs after batting first. 108/4 after India bossed the powerplay with 22/3. Ireland had no clue against the swinging ball. But Tector turned the heat on in style on Axar’s arrival. Then he attacked Umran, Hardik and whoever India bowled except Chahal. If not for Chahal this could have easily been 125+. Pitch seems like a belter to bat on once that swing is gone. 109 isn’t that hard for India with 10 wickets in hand, but Ireland do have a score to fight. With form on their side India should get this, but can Ireland surprise them? Harry Tector scored 64* runs of 33 balls and Lorcan Tucker scored 18 runs of 16 balls. For India, Bhuvi, Chahal, Pandya and Avesh Khan pick 1 wicket each.

Team India chased down the target successfully by scoring 111/3 in 9.2 overs. Plenty of fireworks from India in that chase. They’ve raced home with 16 balls to spare in a 12-over game. Ishan Kishan started off the carnage with some brutal shots, and Hooda and Pandya followed with more of the same. It was a good recovery from Ireland earlier to post 108. They had slipped to 22/3 inside four overs, before Tector smashed 64 off 33 balls. There was movement on offer right through the game on a pitch freshened by the rain. But these short boundaries, the ball flew everywhere. Deepak Hooda scored 47* runs of 29 balls and Ishan Kishan scored 26 runs of 11 balls. For Ireland, Craig Young pick 2 wickets for 18 runs in his 2 overs.
