IDFC First Bank T20I Series 2023: Team India seal the series against Australia with final T20I to go. They won the game by 4th T20I by 20 runs at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. Now I will share the details of this game match in my way.

3rd T20I (India Vs Australia)
Game Date: 26th November 2023
Details:
Australian skipper Matthew Wade won the toss and elected to field first in the 4th game of T20I series against Team India at Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium, Raipur. Two changes in Indian Team and Mukesh Kumar & Deepak Chahar are playing today in the place of Prasidh Krishna and Arshdeep Singh.

Team India scored 174/9 in their 20 overs after batting first. India would be disappointed with those last two overs, just 13 runs scored and 5 wickets lost. 180 would have been par on this surface but they have fallen just short. Jaiswal got them off the blocks and added 50 runs in the powerplay before he departed. Iyer and SKY failed to make an impact, but Gaikwad steadied the innings and had an able partner in Rinku Singh. The pair added 48 runs for the 4th wicket and set up the platform for Jitesh Sharma who provided impetus to the innings with a quickfire 19-ball 35. With a well-set Rinku and Jitesh at the crease, India looked on course to breach the 180-mark but Australia pulled things back and now should fancy chasing this down. India will hope there’s no dew and the ball does not come on like it did in the first innings. Rinku Singh scored 46 runs of 29 balls and Yashasvi Jaiswal scored 37 runs of 29 balls. For Australia, Ben Dwarshuis picked 3 wickets for 40 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Australia unable to chase the target and scored 154/7 in their 20 overs. 162 was the highest successfully chased target in T20s at this venue and that record remains intact. Australia got off to a flier with Travis Head smashing at 200 and offering a solid score in the powerplay while at it. Unfortunately for them, only Wade managed to strike in excess of 120 while the rest struggled to get going against the spin duo of Axar Patel and Ravi Bishnoi. They combined to produce an excellent spell 33/4 in the 8 overs. Chahar too made an excellent comeback as he picked up the key wickets of Tim David and Matt Short during crucial junctures. He conceded 29 off his first 2 overs and then kept it tight by picking 2/15 in his final 2. All in all, there wasn’t as much dew and the odd ball kept low to keep the spinners excited during the middle overs. It’s the first international T20 at this venue and the Raipur fans couldn’t have asked for a better spectacle. Matthew Wade scored 36* of 23 balls and Travis Head scored 31 runs of 16 balls. For Team India, Axar Patel picked 3 wickets just 16 runs in his 4 overs quota.
