Durgesh Tiwary’s View: When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie on premiere day as trailer looks interesting.

An introverted dentist falls obsessively in love with a married woman who is in an abusive relationship. He tries to save her and in that does something unfathomable. What happens next is packed with unpredictable twists and sharp turns.

The first half of the film is utterly boring as it takes a lot of time is spent building up Freddy’s character. You would be pulling your hair out thinking why you’re even watching this film. However, the twist in the middle before the second half begins totally flips your thought process and now, you’re hooked on to the film wanting to reach the climax as soon as possible. The numerous twists and turns in the plot are surely something that you would love. It’s this second half and the climax that saves this film.

We have seen Karthik Aaryan as a lover boy and in comic roles. But Freddy shows the other side of him. As an introverted and underconfident person, he gave a solid performance in the film. His body language and expressions are on point for Freddy’s role. From the beginning to the end, Karthik makes his screen presence felt. Pritam’s music is decent. ‘Kaala Jaadu’ is haunting, and its tune is also like the theme of the film.

Overall, movie is just a passable thriller with some good moments in the second hour. The brilliant transformation of Karthik Aaryan and his fantastic portrayal as Freddy is the biggest asset, but the problem lies with cliched storytelling and predictable nature. had the second half and the climax not been as thrilling, this would have been a total dumpster. But thankfully it isn’t. Still, you can give it a try but don’t expect anything unusual from the film. My view on this movie Time Pass.
