Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards 2020: Complete list of winners. Filmfare is Launching its first edition Filmfare OTT Awards 2020, this awards aim to honor the over the top best streaming platform web series, best director of series and many more.
The eligibility criteria for the nomination was only shows that have been released between Aug 01, 2019 and July 31, 2020 are being considered for the awards for this year. The Flyx Filmfare OTT Awards are going to have 32 categories.
Over the top (OTT) streaming platforms have redefined the way we consume entertainment content. Now, the viewers like to binge-watch their favourite shows at a stretch. Filmffare started off as entity to honor excellence in Indian cinema and now decided to honor achievements on OTT platforms with a new award property soley dedicated to this field.
The first ever Filmfare Awards for OTT held on yesterday evening. Paatal Lok and The Family Man, both Amazon originals were the big winners at the event. From Jaideep Ahlawat winning the Best Actor in a Drama Series (Male) for Paatal Lok to Sushmita Sen winning Best Actor in a Drama Series (Female) for Aarya, the night was full of glitz, glamour and exciting reveals.
