England Tour Of India 2021: Team India won Paytm ODI series by 2-1 after beating England by 7 runs in 3rd and final ODI at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium Pune at 28th March. Now I will share the details of this final game match in my way.

3rd ODI (India Vs England)
Game Date: 28th March 2021
Details:
England captain Jos Buttler won the toss again and opt to field first in the 3rd and final ODI against India. Team India includes T Natarajan in place of Kuldeep Yadav and England Includes Mark Wood in place of Tom Curran.

India all out 329 runs in 48.2 overs after batting first. India’s plan to go hard hasn’t worked as well as they would have wanted. The openers were off to a fiery start, raised the 100 of the team in just the 14th over, but Rashid brought his team back into the contest, with the wickets of the two openers. Kohli and KL Rahul failed to get a start and at 157 for 4, things looked grim. Rishabh and Hardik though had other ideas, they not only stitched a 99-run stand for the 5th wicket, but did so in double quick time. But both fell when well-set, Krunal struggled for timing, Shardul managed a quickfire cameo and then India lost 4 for 8 towards the end. So, in an effort to make a huge score, India have finished with less than what they managed with their steady accumulation in the second ODI. Rishabh Pant scored 78 of 62 balls and Shikhar Dhawan scored 67 of 56 balls. For England Mark Wood pick 3 wickets for 34 runs in his 7 overs.

England unable to chase the target and scored only 322/9 in their 50 overs and lost the game by 7 runs and series by 1-2. India were very good in power play and Bhuvneshwar Kumar pick the wickets of both openers in his first 2 overs and at one time England were 200/7 and India was certain to win but Sam Curran have some other plans. India were suddenly choking. Panicking. Dropping catches. It took a disaster of an over by Shardul Thakur to send India into panic mode, but eventually it was the Hardik over that cut them off. He choked them in the penultimate over, leaving 14 for Natarajan in the final over, which he did well to defend. But a doffed hat, to Mr. Sam Curran, who ensured that India didn’t rest easy until the penultimate ball of the tour. In the end, India have swept all the formats, but it certainly wasn’t as one-sided as that scoreline suggests. Sam Curran scored 95* of 83 balls and Dawid Malan scored 50 of 50 balls. For India Shardul Thakur pick 4 wickets for 67 runs in his 10 overs.
