Details: Sunrisers Hyderabad David Warner won the toss and elected to bat first in the 8th game of IPL 2020. SRH included Jonny Bairstow, Mohammad Nabi, Rashid Khan and David Warner as four foreign players for this game.
SRH made three change in the squad and Included Mohammad Nabi, Wriddhiman Saha and K Khaleel Ahmed in place of Mitchell Marsh, Vijay Shankar and Sandeep Sharma
Four foreign players of KKR for this game was Andre Russell, Sunil Narine, Pat Cummins and Eoin Morgan. KKR made 2 changes in their squad and included Varun Chakravarthy and Kamlesh Nagarkoti in the squad by replacing Sandeep Warrier and Nikhil Naik.
Sunrisers Hyderabad started off very slow run rate and due to good bowling they only able to score 142/4 in their 20 overs. They are 20-30 runs short from a good total. Manish Pandey scored 51 of 38 balls and David Warner scored 36 of 30 balls. For KKR Pat Cummins, Varun Chakravarthy and Andre Russell picks 1 wicket each.
Kolkata Knight Riders chased down the target by scoring 145/3 in 18 overs.Shubman Gill scored 70* runs 62 balls and Eoin Morgan scored 42* in 29 balls. For SRH K Khaleel Ahmed, T Natarajan and Rashid Khan picks 1 wicket each.

Result: Kolkata Knight Riders won by 7 wickets

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to KKR for their 1st win in this IPL. Complete team performance by KKR in this game as bowlers did exceptional job and restrict SRH in a below par score and Batsmen chase the game very well.
Till now in this season captains win the toss and elected to field first but David warner selected to bat first which is not the bad decision but they way they batted seems no any plan. So they need to re-think about their team combination and come with better mindset as still long way to go.
