Dream11 IPL Match 49: CSK hampers KKR chances by beating them by 6 wickets. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.
49th Game (Kolkata Knight Riders Vs Chennai Super Kings)
Game Date: 29th Oct 2020
Details: Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni won the toss and elected to field first in the 49th game of IPL 2020. RCB included Shane Watson, Sam Curran, Lungi Ngidi and Mitchell Santner as four foreign players for this game. Three change in playing XI as they have included Shane Watson, Lungi Ngidi and Karn Sharma in place of Faf du Plessis, Imran Tahir and Monu Kumar.
Four foreign players of KKR for this game was Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins, Lockie Ferguson and Sunil Narine. One change in team and they have included Rinku Singh in place of Prasidh Krishna.
Kolkata Knight Riders scores 172/5 in their 20 overs which is decent total on this pitch. It was a fluent start by Gill in particular, featuring Rana, but as soon as the former departed, the young southpaw took over and launched an assault for the ages. He didn’t receive the best support from Narine and Rinku, but Karthik and Morgan aided the final flourish and 66 runs off the final 5 overs. CSK continued to bleed out with the ball in hand as spinners are giving away runs in their overs. Nitish Rana scored 87 of 61 balls and Shubman Gill scored 26 of 17 balls. For CSK Lungi Ngidi picks 2 wickets for 24 runs in his 4 overs.
Innings Break!#KKR post a total of 172/5 on the board. Will #CSK chase this down?

Chennai Super Kings Chase was good despite slow run rate. Excellent partnership between Rayudu and Gaikwad put CSK on the top but quick wickets by KKR gives them chances. They were caught up towards the end but Lockie crumbled under pressure (dew also played a part) and that meant KKR frittered away the advantage. Jadeja though stood firm amidst the pressure and delivered. MS continued to disappoint and Curran had the timing demon plaguing him. He just couldn’t time it well and it had to be Jadeja special for CSK to hamper KKR’s chances. Ruturaj Gaikwad scored 72 runs 53 balls and Ambati Rayudu scored 38 in 20 balls. For KKR Cummins and Chakravarthy picks 2 wickets each.
A nail-biting finish. @imjadeja finishes off in style 👏👏#CSK win by 6 wickets.#Dream11IPL pic.twitter.com/eaoeT1cU4k

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to CSK for their back to back win. Their batting machinery has creaked and groaned throughout the season, but today they have done pretty well and chased down the target with good partnerships in top order. Their campaign was coming apart brick by brick so far, just a dramatic representation of the fall we’ve seen this season. Today game will sure boost their confidence and but they are out of the tournament and should play to get some respects and give chance to other players to keep focus for next season.
Kolkata Knight Riders batting was good in compare to previous matches. A good partnership by openers and final flourish gives them a decent score . Their middle order batsmen unable to score but they got a good finish by Karthik at the end. Bowling was average in first half but they come back astonishing way and at one time CSK needed 30 runs in last 2 overs and 7 runs in final 2 balls but Sir Jadega play phenomenal cameo at the end which cost the game to KKR. Now they have only one game with RR and need to win at any cost for their chances to qualify for the play-offs.
