Royal Challengers Bangalore started off very poorly and loose wickets in regular wickets and only able to score 137/9 in their 20 overs and lose the game by 59 runs. It’s a pretty clear fact that if RCB were to chase this, it would be through Kohli or AB batting long till the end. AB didn’t. Kohli tried, set up a platform of sorts as well, but with wickets falling around him, a rash shot was always coming.Virat Kohli scored 43 runs 39 balls and Washington Sundar scored 17 in 11 balls. Man of the Match: Axar Patel

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to DC for clinical win and being on top in points table with 4th win of this season. Complete team effort by DC team which is outstanding. Batsmen scoring runs and bowlers are a rare breed where fast bowlers still bowl fast and spinners still keeping looping the ball and drawing the edge and the miscue off the air. All in all exceptional performance and they are all set to qualify for the play offs.

For RCB bowling in death overs is biggest concern and they are having similar issues like KXIP as batsmen are scoring runs but bowlers are unable to capitalize it. RCB need to find the bowling combination although they have only lose 2 games and still are top 4 so lets see how they are performing in next game.

Stats

Kagiso Rabada has taken at least one wicket in his last 18 games in the IPL, a streak dating back to 2017

– The Capitals have won just 8 of their 23 meetings against RCB. Two of those wins, however, came in the last season.
