Details: Mumbai Indians Skipper Rohit Sharma won the toss and elected to field first in the 1th game of IPL 2020. MI included Kieron Pollard, Quinton De Kock, Trent Boult and James Pattinson as four foreign players for this game.
MI made one change in the squad and Included Ishan Kishan in place of Saurabh Tiwary in playing XI.
Four foreign players of RCB for this game was AB de Villiers, Aaron Finch, Adam Zampa and Isuru Udana. Three changes in RCB playing squad and today Adam Zampa, Isuru Udana and Gurkeerat Singh Mann is playing in place of Dale Steyn, Umesh Yadav and Josh Philippe.
Royal Challengers Bangalore started off very well but after losing 2 quick wickets they were 96/2 till 13th overs but with the brilliant batting by AB de Villiers and at the end Shivam Dube they scored 201/3 in their 20 overs. AB de Villiers scored 55* of 24 balls and Devdutt Padikkal scored 54 of 40 balls. For MI Trent Boult picks 2 for 34 runs in his 4 overs quota.
Mumbai Indians lose 2 quick wickets and started very slow and but get the momentum overs by overs and at one time they were needed 81 runs in 4 overs but that time Ishan Kishan and Kieron Pollard almost done the miracle for MI but game was tied at the end.Ishan Kishan scored 99 runs 58 balls and Kieron Pollard scored 60* in 24 balls. For RCB Isuru Udana picks 2 wickets for 45 runs in his 4 over quota.

From RCB side Navdeep Saini bowled the super over and given only 7 runs and takes the wicket of Kieron Pollard.
From MI side Jasprit Bumrah bowls the super over but RCB chased down the target but won the game.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : First of all what an thrilling and captivating game it was. Congratulations to RCB for their win. What a turn around for them and complete team performance. First batsmen done their job and it’s again Mr. 360 (AB de Villiers) who plays the clinical role and help team to won the game in super over.
For MI I think they need to improve in their bowling and batting department. Quinton De Kock and James Pattinson can be replaced but why team management is going with them when good option is available. MI is giving more than enough runs in last overs. Jasprit Bumrah need to works on his bowling as well because his performance is very ordinary in this season.
MI is badly missing Lasith Malinga this season because the games MI have lost would have been undone if Malinga played for MI.
