SRH won by 6 wickets-cricketmovie.com

Dream11 IPL 2020 2nd Qualifier: RCB is out of this season after losing the eliminator by 6 wickets against SRH. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

2nd Qualifier Game (Sunrisers Hyderabad Vs Royal Challengers Bangalore)
Game Date: 6th Nov 2020
Details:
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and elected to field first in the 2nd qualifier game of IPL 2020. SRH included David Warner, Kane Williamson, Rashid Khan and Jason Holder as four foreign players for this game. One forced changed in the team as they have included Shreevats Goswami in placed of injured Saha.

Four foreign players of RCB for this game was Aaron Finch, AB de Villiers, Adam Zampa and Moeen Ali. Four changes in playing XI and they have included Aaron Finch, Adam Zampa and Moeen Ali and Navdeep Saini in place of Josh Philippe, Chris Morris, Isuru Udana and Shahbaz Ahmed.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scores 131/7 in their 20 overs which is below par score on this ground. RCB decided to open with Kohli and that lasted for 1.2 overs as Holder had him strangled down leg, Padikkal too didn’t last long. Finch and de Villiers revived the innings but they again lost two wickets in one over. The onus fell on de Villiers and he tried his best to take them to a par score with a fifty but when he fell in the 18th over, RCB had to settle with a below par total. AB de Villiers scored 56 of 43 balls and Aaron Finch scored 32 of 30 balls. For SRH Jason Holder picks 3 wickets for 25 runs in his 4 overs.

Sunrisers Hyderabad chased down target successfully. Their chase was not good as lose first wickets in very first over but a good short partnership between Pandey and Warner turns the game in favor of SRH but quick wickets and slow run rate hurt SRH in middle overs but brilliant unbeaten partnership between Williamson and holder ensures their team qualify for final play-offs and kind of semi-final of this season. Kane Williamson scored 50* runs 44 balls and Jason Holder scored 24* in 20 balls. For RCB Mohammed Siraj picks 2 wickets for 28 runs in his 4 overs.

RCB: 131/7 in 20 overs
SRH: 132/4 in 19.4 overs

Result: Sunrisers Hyderabad won by 6 wickets
Man of the Match: Kane Williamson

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to SRH for their consecutive wins and enter in semi-final of IPL as if they will able to beat DC next qualifier game then they will reach to the finals. Hats off to entire bowling team of SRH to blazing bowling performance and restricting RCB for such low score and special mention to their other batsmen who ensured his dream bowling wasn’t wasted. They chased down target even after losing 4 wickets in middle of the game and all the because of Kane Williamson incredible knock under pressure.

Royal Challengers Bangalore is out of the tournament after today’s defeat. Definite problems to address in that batting department. Their batting machinery has creaked and groaned from last few games, before going completely kaput today against quality fast bowling. And this comes at a very tricky time in the tournament, where they can’t really make any drastic changes. They lose back to back 5 games and their middle order failed miserly which costs the game for this team. For the next season they really need to improve their batting as they are totally dependent on Kohli and De Villiers.

Stats

RCB‘s middle-order go-slow has now started to impact their finish. They have scored 44/4, 35/4, 27/3 and 49/5 at the death in the last four games

– In another microcosm of RCB’s troubles, Morris has taken just 2 wickets at 55 and an economy of 9.43 in the last four games.
