Dettol T20 Series: India beat Australia by 11 runs in 1st T20. Now I will share the details of this T20 game match in my way.
1st T20 (India Vs Australia)
Game Date: 4th Dec 2020
Details: Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to field first in the 1st T20 game. They made three changes for this game and included debutant D Arcy Short, Matthew Wade and Mitchell Swepson in place of David Warner, Marnus Labuschange and Pat Cummins.
Team India made four changes for the game and included Manish Pandey, Sanju Samson and Deepak Chahar in place of Shreyas Iyer, Shubman Gill and Shardul Thakur. Jasprit Bumrah rested and Mohammed Shami added to playing XI.
India scores 161/7 in their 20 overs which is good score after being 6 down for 115 runs in 17 overs. India start was not good and lose 2 wickets early but a good partnership between KL Rahul and Sanju Samson turn the game but they really threw it away in the middle overs by keep losing wickets but all thanks to incredible innings of Sir Jadega who remains not out till the end and plays even after hamstring injury. India finish with a high note and scored 46 runs in last 3 overs despite losing the last recognized batsmen Pandya. KL Rahul scored 51 runs of 40 balls and Ravindra Jadeja scored 44* runs of 23 balls. For Australia Moises Henriques picks 3 wickets for 22 runs in his 4 overs.

Concussion substitute alert: ICYMI, Jadeja did get hit on his head while batting and given that he also had a hamstring injury shortly, India have got Chahal on as the concussion substitute. Australia coach Justin Langer wasn’t happy with this at all and was seen arguing with the match referee David Boon. Jadeja is currently being assessed by the BCCI Medical Team.
Australia unable to chase this target and lose the game by 11 runs. They started off well and scored more than 50 runs in power plays and Indian bowlers looks very ordinary and even 2 catches dropped by team of both openers but once that was broken by Chahal, the Indian bowling attack never relented. Natarajan also starred with the ball for India and that too in his debut game. With back to back wickets and good clinical bowling India managed to defend the target. Aaron Finch scored 35 runs 26 balls and D Arcy Short scored 34 in 38 balls. For India Yuzvendra Chahal and T Natarajan picks 3 wickets each.
