In this post, I am sharing the updated Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in September 2024 on OTT and Cinemas. After a good number of releases in the last month we have a good number of releases in this month too. As this new month is bringing a slew of new shows and series that you simply cannot afford to miss. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
There are still few movies are premiering on digital platform instead of cinemas to avoid clashes. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. The Goat (Movie)
Release Date: 5th September 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Thalapathy Vijay, Prashanth, Prabhu Deva, Ajmal Ameer, Mohan, Jayaram, Sneha, Laila, Meenakshi Chaudhary and Yogi Babu
Director: Venkat Prabhu
Details: The film follows Gandhi, former leader of a special anti-terrorist squad, who reconciles with his squad members to address the problems which were stemmed from their previous actions.
2. Thangalaan Hindi (Movie)
Release Date: 6th September 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Vikram, Parvathy, Malavika Mohanan, Daniel Caltagirone, Pasupathy and Hari Krishnan
Director: Pa Ranjith
Details: Set during the British Raj era, a fierce tribal leader sets out to stop an apparent sorceress, after earning her wrath when assisting a British general in tracing gold in their village.
3. Tanaav 2 (Web-Series)
Release Date: 6th September 2024 on Sony LIV
Cast: Manav Vij, Arbaaz Khan, Gaurav Arora, Rajat Kapoor, Shashank Arora, Satyadeep Misra, Udit Arora, Arslan Goni, Kabir Bedi, Soni Razdan, Danish Husain, Ekta Kaul, Zayn Marie Khan, Sukhmani Sadana and Mir Sarwar

Details: It is a gripping musical drama that delves into the evolving clash between indie and commercial music, framed within a tense father-son rivalry.
7. The Buckingham Murders (Movie)
Release Date: 13th September 2024 release in cinemas
Cast: Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Brar, Ash Tandon, Assad Raja, Prabhleen Sandhu, Sanjeev Mehra, Adwoa Akoto and Zain Hussain
Director: Hansal Mehta
Details: Jasmeet Bhamra is a British-Indian detective who has recently lost her child. She is assigned the case of a murdered 10-year-old child in Buckinghamshire.
8. Berlin (Movie)
Release Date: 13th September 2024 on Zee5 Premium
Cast: Aparshakti Khurana, Ishwak Singh, Rahul Bose, Anupriya Goenka and Kabir Bedi
Director: Atul Sabharwal
Details: Set in New Delhi, India, in 1993, the film follows a deaf-mute young man who is accused of being a foreign spy. A sign language expert is brought in to interpret for the government during his interrogation. As the mystery unfolds, the line between guilt and innocence becomes blurred, and the sign language expert finds himself caught in a dangerous web of deceit and political intrigue
9. Adbhut (Movie)
Release Date: 15th September 2024 on Sony Max
Cast: Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Diana Penty, Shreya Dhanwanthary and Rohan Mehra
Director: Sabbir Khan
Details: Follows Diana who doesn’t believe in ghosts or supernatural power. But when she feels something strange happening on a regular basis, she reaches out to Nawaz for help.
10. Yudhra (Movie)
Release Date: 20th September 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Siddhant Chaturvedi, Malavika Mohanan, Gajraj Rao, Ram Kapoor, Raj Arjun, Raghav Juyal, Shilpa Shukla
Director: Ravi Udyawar

12. Kahan Shuru Kahan Khatam (Movie)

Details: The film explores the young romantic family entertainer genre with a focus on an accidental love story. The film is a Wedding Crasher’s Tale of Falling in Love with the Bride & an innocent message to take away.
13. Devara (Movie)
Release Date: 27th September 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Jr NTR, Saif Ali Khan, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj, Srikanth, Shine Tom Chacko and Narain
Director: Koratala Siva
Details: An epic action saga set against coastal lands, which briefs about rip-roaring, emotionally charged incidents in the periodic timeline, also comprises the titular protagonist being the rescuer to deprived and fear to evildoers.
NOTE: These are confirmed list of movie/series till 3rd September. There are few in pipelines and once their release date will be announced will add them in this list.
