In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in May 2022 on OTT and Cinemas. This month we can certainly say clashes of the month as each Friday we have clash with big films Clashes are certain to happen as Bollywood calendar is almost packed till next year but seems that again date changes are certain to happen. This month we have also few movies which will have digital premiere on multiple platforms after cinemas.
However, there are still many films whose announcements are yet to happen and in this case again producers are choosing OTT for their movie release. Yesterday Amazon Prime Video shared the list of multiple movies/series for next two years. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema halls after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Radhe Shyam (Movie)
Release date: 4th May 2022 (Netflix)
Cast: Prabhas, Pooja Hegde, Bhagyashree, Sachin Khedekar and Kunal Roy Kapur
Director: Radha Krishna Kumar
Details: Movie released in cinemas on 11th March 2022 and then it’s digital premiere on multiple language starts from 1st April 2022 and now it will premiere in Hindi. Set in Europe of the 1970s, It is the story of two individuals who are poles apart in terms of their ideologies, their belief system and the way they perceive life.
2. Thar (Movie)
Release date: 6th May 2022 (Netflix)
Cast: Anil Kapoor, Harshvarrdhan Kapoor and Fatima Sana Shaikh
Director: Raj Singh Chaudhary
Details: Inspired by Western Noir genres, movie is set in the eighties and essays the story of Siddharth who shift to Pushkar for a job, Siddharth embarks on a journey to avenge his past.
3. Jhund (Movie)
Release date: 6th May 2022 (Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Rinku Rajguru and Akash Thosar

Details: Movie released in cinemas on 4th March 2022 and now set for digital premiere. Former sports coach Vijay Barse invests his time and hard-earned money to train underprivileged kids in football, to keep them away from drugs and crimes seeded in Nagpur’s underbelly.
4. Mere Desh Ki Dharti (Movie)
Release date: 6th May 2022 (Cinemas)
Cast: Divyenndu Sharma, Anant Vidhaat, Anupriya Goenka and Inaamulhaq
Director: Faraz Haider
Details: Divyenndu plays a character of young engineer Ajay, who goes to rural India with his friend Sameer aka Anant Vidhaat after facing setbacks in his career. The two then goes on to revolutionize the farming sector.
5. Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness (Movie)
