In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in July 2021 on OTT and Cinemas. When situation started to seem better and filmmakers decided to release films in theatres, the number of coronavirus cases in the country have started to rise, again. This has further compelled makers to rethink releasing their films in theatres. Some of them have already delayed the releases.
Now again situation is getting better so we may have few releases now but still not good enough to release the film. At the same time there are few movies which were announced for July 2021 are seems to be postponed again. These movies are KGF Chapter 2, Radhe Shayam And GanguBai KathiaWadi. Akshay Kumar one of upcoming movie Bell Bottom which was scheduled to release on 27th July is seems to be postponed again and targeting to release in August month.
We have to wait for the new release date of these films because as of now they are definitely going to be postponed again. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema halls after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It is almost certain audiences will get more movies and web-series on OTT due to current situation and they can watch per their choices onwards.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month:
1. Loki (Web-series)
Release date: 7th and 14th July 2021 (Disney Plus Hotstar VIP)
Cast: Tom Hiddleston, Owen Wilson, Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Sasha Lane and Wunmi Mosaku
Director: Kate Herron
Details: The series takes place after the events of the film Avengers Endgame (2019), in which an alternate version of Loki created a new timeline. Loki is brought to the mysterious Time Variance Authority organization after stealing the Tesseract during the events of Avengers: Endgame (2019), and travels through time altering human history using it, ending up trapped in his own crime thriller.
Note: There are total 6 Episodes and each episodes will release every Wednesday. Remaining 2 Episodes will release release on 7th and 14th July 2021.
2. The Tomorrow War (Movie)
Release date: 2nd July 2021 (Amazon Prime Video)
Cast: Chris Pratt, Yvonne Strahovski, J.K. Simmons, Betty Gilpin, Sam Richardson, Edwin Hodge, Jasmine Mathews, Ryan Kiera Armstrong and Keith Powers

Cast: Shilpa Shetty Kundra , Paresh Rawal , Pranitha Subhash, Meezaan Jafery, Ashutosh Rana, Johny Lever and Rajpal Yadav
Director: Priyadarshan
Details: It is sequel of popular comedy film Hungama with new some old and new star-cast. Paresh Rawal was also part of first film. Story is complete different from first movie and waiting to see on 23rd July.
10. 14 Phere (Movie)
Release date: 23rd July 2021 (Zee5 Premium)
Cast: Vikrant Massey, Kriti Kharbanda, Gauahar Khan and Jameel Khan

Details: Earlier movie was scheduled to release in Cinemas on 9th July 2021 but due to pandemic it will release on Zee5 Premium. Get ready for a roller coaster ride of 2X comedy, 2X dhamaal, and 2X thrill! You’re invited to Sanjay and Aditi’s unique and memorable wedding
11. Hostel Daze Season 2 (Web-Series)
Release date: 23rd July 2021 (Amazon Prime Video)
Cast: Adarsh Gourav, Ahsaas Channa, Ayushi Gupta, Luv Vispute, Nikhil Vijay and Shubham Gaur
Director: Amir Musanna and Sangram Naiksatam
Details: The shenanigans of these hooligans have now leveled up, as they go from freshies to seniors. Did they pass MTH101? What happens between Akanksha and Ankit? Only one thing is certain that Yeh batch hi bekaar aaya hai, yaar!
12. Mimi (Movie)
Release date: 30th July 2021 (Netflix)

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : In my view Toofan and Mimi are the movies to watch out for in 2nd half of this month because of their content and story.
