In this post, I am sharing the updated Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in August 2024 on OTT and Cinemas. After a good number of releases in the last month we have a good number of releases in this month too. As this new month is bringing a slew of new shows and series that you simply cannot afford to miss. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
There are still few movies are premiering on digital platform instead of cinemas to avoid clashes. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Auron Mein Kahan Dum Tha (Movie)
Release Date: 2nd August 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Tabu, Jimmy Shergill, Shantanu Maheshwari and Saiee Manjrekar
Director: Neeraj Pandey
Details: The film story follows a couple whose love story spans 23 years from 2000 to 2023, delving into the emotional depth and evolving dynamics of their relationship over two decades. Krishna gets involved in multiple murders and is sentenced to life imprisonment. This leads to Vasudha getting separated from him and marrying Abhijeet. After 22 years when Krishna is released from prison after getting pardon, he yearns to meet Vasudha. It culminates in one final meeting between Krishna and Vasudha.
2. Ulajh (Movie)

Cast: Janhvi Kapoor, Gulshan Devaiah, Roshan Mathew, Meiyang Chang, Rajesh Tailang, Adil Hussain and Jitendra Joshi
Director: Sudhanshu Saria
Details: The journey of a young diplomat, belonging to a prominent family of patriots, who gets embroiled in a dangerous personal conspiracy while far from her home turf, at a career-defining post.
3. Dus June Kii Raat (Web-Series)
Release Date: 4th August 2024 On Jio Cinema premium
Cast: Tusshar Kapoor, Priyanka Chahar Choudhary, Shaan Groverr and Sumit Arora
Director: Tabrez Khan
Details: A farcical tale of Panauti, a hapless man with notorious bad luck, and his quest to reopen his father’s theatre. Packed with hilarious misadventures and colorful characters, his journey with Cousin Battu for love and luck is hilarious.
4. Ghudchadi (Movie)
Release Date: 9th August 2024 On Jio Cinema premium
Cast: Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Parth Samthaan and Khushali Kumar

Details: Plot of this film is not revealed yet.
5. Phir Aayi Hasseen Dillruba (Movie)
Release date: 9th August 2024 on Netflix
Cast: Vikrant Massey, Sunny Kaushal, Taapsee Pannu and Jimmy Sheirgill
Director: Jayprad Desai

7. Stree 2 (Movie)

Details: After the events of Stree, the town of Chanderi is being haunted again. This time, women are mysteriously abducted by a terrifying headless entity. Once again, it’s up to Vicky and his friends to save their town and loved ones.
8. Vedaa (Movie)

Details: When IC 814 gets hijacked on its way to Delhi, hundreds of lives are at stake as the country faces its longest and most alarming aviation crisis. 17. Cadets (Web-Series)

Director: Vishwajoy Mukherjee
Details: Set in 1998 before the historic Kargil war, four boys set foot in the prestigious Armed Forces Academy. Cadets is a coming-of-age story about a world where boys become men of honor.
