In this post, I am sharing the updated Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in April 2024 on OTT and Cinemas. After a good number of releases in the last month we have very few releases in this month. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
After the success of Ajay Devgn recent movie Shaitaan all eyes on another Ajay Devgn starrer Maidaan and Akshay Kumar & Tiger Shroff starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan. Both films are clashing this Eid on the Box-office. Both films have very good curiosity among audience especially. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Family Star (Movie)
Release Date: 5th April 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Vijay Deverakonda, Mrunal Thakur, Ajay Ghosh and Divyansha Kaushik
Director: Parasuram
Details: The highs and lows of family relationships in a Indian middle-class family. The life of Govardhan, who wants to achieve greatness in life but has to navigate through a myriad of relationship/trust/ego issues.
2. Maidaan (Movie)
Release Date: 10th April 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Ajay Devgn, Priyamani and Gajraj Rao
Director: Amit Ravindernath Sharma
Details: Spanning from 1952 to 1962, the film chronicles the life and journey of Syed Abdul Rahim, an esteemed football coach who revolutionized the sport in India. Due to his immense contribution in football, the Indian Football Team was called “Brazil of Asia” where they played in a 4-2-4 formation.
3. Bade Miyan Chote Miyan (Movie)
Release Date: 10th April 2024 in Cinemas
Cast: Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Prithviraj Sukumaran, Sonakshi Sinha, Manushi Chhillar, Alaya F and Ronit Roy
Director: Ali Abbas Zafar

4. Amar Singh Chamkila (Movie)

5. Silence 2 (Movie)
Release Date: 16th April 2024 On Zee5
Cast: Manoj Bajpayee, Prachi Desai, Sahil Vaid, Vaqar Shaikh and Parul Gulati
Director: Aban Bharucha Deohans

NOTE: These are confirmed list of movie/series till 1st April and there are few more movies/series are in pipeline and once their release date will be announced will add them in this list.
Durgesh Tiwary’s View: In my view Maidaan & Bade Miyan Chote Miyan are the movie to watch in the 1st half. There are no web-series so far for this month. What’s your top picks among all movies and web series. You can share your view in comment section.
