Black Widow Review: Avenger Natasha Romanoff deserved a better tribute
Black Widow Movie Rating: 2.5 Stars
Just watched Black Widow movie on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP. So let’s focus on the cast, release date story, positive/negatives and at last my personal view on this movie.
Cast: Scarlett Johansson, Florence Pugh, Ray Winstone, Rachel Weisz, David Harbour and William Hurt
Director: Cate Shortland
Release Date: 3rd September 2021 on Disney Plus Hotstar VIP
Story: This movie is dedicated to Black Widow aka Natasha Romanoff as this was her last movie as Avengers in Marvel’s movie as she will now not return in future movies after Captain America and Iron Man.
Story begin from 1995 when super soldier Alexei Shostakov (David Harbour) and Black Widow Melina Vostokoff (Rachel Weisz) work as Russian undercover agents and posing as a family in Ohio with Young Natasha and Yelena as their daughters. They steal SHIELD intel and escape to Cuba where their boss General Dreykov (Ray Winstone) has Romanoff and Belova taken to the Red Room for training through which he controls the minds of countless trafficked women and turns them into assassins.
Cut to the present In 2016 when Captain America: Civil War left off, Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow (Scarlett Johansson) is in exile in Norway when her annoying estranged little sister Yelena (Florence Pugh) gets in touch. She told that General Dreykov is alive and Red Room is still active.
Now Natasha vows to kill Dreykov and Red Room and for that she takes the help of Yelena but she had no idea of Red Room location. So Natasha planned to get Alexei and he directs them to Vostokoff who lives on a farm outside Saint Petersburg. Melina still associate with Red Room and Dreykov and his agents arrive to take them but Romanoff convinces Vostokoff to help them and the pair use face mask technology to switch places. Will they able to finish Dreykov and his Red Room is all about this movie.

2. Direction
3. Screenplay

3. Story
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : When I watched the trailer of this film planned to watch this movie on its release day as this is last movie of Scarlett Johansson as Black Widow in Marvel’s film.
Placed between the events of Captain America: Civil War and Avengers: Infinity War, this instalment dedicated to Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, reunites her with her younger sister and surrogate parents. She discovers that the evil Dreykov is alive and his dreaded Red Room is still functional. Will she be able to rescue the other Black Widows and the world, before they destroy her and everyone she has ever loved?
The human story behind Black Widow’s past and present and drives it well with all the action, peppered throughout. This is the reason why the film’s high-tech and complex narrative feels relatable. Overall, Black Widow justifies its place in the MCU with an entertaining story that has drama, action and comedy making it a Hollywood potboiler worth your time all the way to the post end-credits scene that cannot be missed. My view on this movie Recommended for only Marvel’s and Black Widow fans.
