Yes you have heard right. We all are going to witness the biggest digital clash of Bollywood movies on OTT as not one or two total four movies are releasing on different digital platform. We have seen so many clashes on big screen every year but this will be first time on digital platform. Each one-movie aim will be emerge as a winner and be on the top.
Due to ongoing Covid-19, pandemic cinema halls are going to open any time soon so all filmmakers are now looking for digital release and discussing with different OTT platforms to finalize the deal. In coming time this will be new normal for us. So here, I am going to share the details of all four movies, which are ready for clash.

4. Raat Akeli Hai (Netflix)
First movie is Vidyut Jammwal starrer “Yaara” which is all set to release on 30 July (Friendship Day) on Zee5 and movie is all about friendship. It co-stars Amit Sadh, Vijay Sharma and Shruti Hasan in the lead. Tigmanshu Dhulia directs the movie. Vidyut has a separate fan base due to action star image and trailer receive appreciation from its target audience.
Second movie is Vidya Balan starrer “Shakuntala Devi” which is releasing on 31 July on Amazon Prime. It is biopic of Shakuntala Devi who was mathematical genius and also known as human computer. Movie co-stars Amit Sadh and Sanaya Malhotra in the lead. This movie trailer have received most no of viewership among all movies. But Yaara has one advantage is that it is releasing one day before and if story will be liked by audiences then It can become topper.
Third movie is Kunal Kemmu starrer “Lootcase” which is also releasing on 31 July on Disney plus Hotstar. It co-stars Rasika Dugal, Ranvir Shorey, Vijay Raaz and Gajraj Rao. It is one of delayed movie, which supposed to release last year, but due to unknown reasons movie was not release. Trailer of the movie has least viewership but still with such a superlative star cast, it can be wait and watch situation however, one thing is sure that it will give tough competitions.
Last but the not the least movie which is releasing on 31 July is “Raat Akeli Hai” starring Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Radhika Apte. It will release on Netflix. Target audience appreciates movie trailer as Nawazuddin has also separate fan base who loved his acting and wait for his movies.
Therefore, these are four movies, which are releasing. Out of four, Yaara is releasing one day before and rest of three are releasing on same day. Although these movies are, clashing but it will be definitely quadruple bonanza for the audiences. They will have choices to watch the movie of their choice or all.
It will also interesting clash between digital platforms as well as all four movies are releasing on different platforms. It is clash between Netflix Vs Disney Plus HotStar Vs Amazon prime Vs Zee 5 along with Yaara Vs Shakuntala Devi Vs Lootcase Vs Raat Akeli Hai.
With initial trends as of now “Shakuntala Devi” is looks like a winner among these movies as it has advantage of being a biopic of famous mathematician Shakuntala Ji and it is kind of family movies which is liked by family audiences and they can watch it with their kids.
Although I am also in favor of “Shakuntala Devi” and it might emerge the topper but being a Vidyut Jammwal fan (We called ourselves as Jammwalions) wanted “Yaara” to be the winner. This is my vote you all can select your favorite movies among them. Waiting for the D-day.
