Australia Tour Of West Indies 2021: WI have registered their 1st multi-match series win against Aussies in any format since the 1995 ODI series after winning the 5th and final T20 by 16 runs. Now I will share the details of each T20 match in my way.

1st T20 (West Indies Vs Australia)
Game Date: 10th July 2021
Details:
Austalia skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to field first in the 1st T20 against West Indies. Nicholas Pooran is leading the team in absence of Kieron Pollard is not fit and having Niggles.

West Indies scored 145/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. Andre Russell scored 51 runs of 28 balls and Lendl Simmons scored 27 runs of 28 balls. For Australia Josh Hazlewood pick 3 wickets for just 12 in their 4 overs quota.

Australia unable to chased down the target and all out for 127 runs in 16 overs. Mitchell Marsh scored 51 runs 31 balls and Matthew Wade scored 33 in 14 balls. For West Indies Obed McCoy pick 4 wickets for 26 runs in his 4 overs quota.

2nd T20
Game Date: 11th July 2021
Details:
Australia skipper Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to field first in the 2nd T20 game as against West Indies. Australia didn’t made any changes while West Indies made 2 changes in their playing XI and included Andre Fletcher and Sheldon Cottrell in place of unfit Evin Lewis and Obed McCoy.

West Indies scored 196/4 in their 20 overs. Shimron Hetmyer scored 61 runs of 36 balls and Dwayne Bravo scored 47* runs of 34 balls. For Australia Hazlewood, Agar and Marsh pick 1 wicket each in 4 overs quota.

Australia unable to chased this target and all out for 140 runs and lost the game by 56 runs and they are 0-2 in this series with 3 more T20’s to go. Mitchell Marsh scored 54 runs 42 balls and Moises Henriques scored 19 in 21 balls. For West Indies Hayden Walsh pick 3 wickets for 29 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Game Date: 13th July 2021
Details:
Australia captain Aaron Finch won the toss and elected to bat first in the 3rd T20 game against West Indies. 1 change in West Indies Team as they included Obed McCoy in place of Fidel Edwards. Three changes in Australian Team and they included Alex Carey, Ashton Turner and Riley Meredith come in place of Josh Philippe, Ben McDermott and Ashton Agar.

Australia scored 141/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. Moises Henriques scored 33 of 29 balls and skipper Aaron Finch scored 30 of 31 balls. For West Indies Hayden Walsh picks 2 wickets for 18 runs in his 4 overs quota.

West Indies chased down the target successfully by scoring 142/4 in 14.5 overs and take an inaccessible lead of 3-0 with 2 more T20’s to go. Details:
Australia captain Aaron Finch again won the toss and elected to bat first in the 4th T20 game against West Indies. One change in Australia and they have included Jason Behrendorff in place of Josh Hazlewood and Three changes in West Indies playing XI and Evin Lewis, Oshane Thomas and Akeal Hosein replace Shimron Hetmyer Hetmyer, Dwayne Bravo and Obed McCoy.

Australia scored 189/6 in their 20 overs after batting first. Mitchell Marsh scored 75 of 44 balls and skipper Aaron Finch scored 53 of 37 balls. For West Indies Hayden Walsh picks 3 wickets for 27 runs in his 4 overs quota.

West Indies unable to chase the target and scored only 185/6 in their 20 overs and lost the game by just 4 runs they are still 3-1 with final T20 to go. Lendl Simmons scored 72 runs 48 balls and Evin Lewis scored 31 in 14 balls. For Australia Mitchell Marsh pick 3 wickets for 24 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Details:
West Indies stand in-captain Nicholas Pooran won the toss and elected to bat first again in the 5th and final T20 game against Australia. One change in West Indies and Darren Bravo comes in for Akeal Hosein. Australia got 4 changes and Josh Hazlewood, Mitchell Swepson, Josh Philippe and Andrew Tye are in.

West Indies scored 199/8 in their 20 overs after batting first. Evin Lewis scored 79 of 34 balls and skipper Nicholas Pooran scored 31 of 18 balls. For Australia Andrew Tye pick 3 wickets for 37 runs in 4 overs.

Australia unable to chase the target and scored only 183/9 in their 20 overs and lost the T20 series by 1-4 and game by 16 runs. Skipper Aaron Finch scored 34 runs 23 balls and Mitchell Marsh scored 30 in 15 balls. For West Indies Cottrell and Russell pick 3 wickets each in their 4 overs quota.

Obed McCoy tops the tables for the most Wickets in T20Is since January 2021 for West Indies.

Evin Lewis became only the seventh player to hit 100 sixes in T20I cricket and he is the second WI player after Chris Gayle to achieve this feat.

– Evin Lewis also become Fastest to hit 100 T20I Sixes in just 42 games.

Hayden Walsh Jr. ended the series with 12 wickets and it is the 2nd highest by any bowler in a bilateral T20I series! only behind Ish Sodhi‘s 13 wickets vs Australia this year.

Fabien Allen finished the series with 7 catches and it is the most EVER by a single player in a bilateral T20I series.

– WI registered their 1st multi-match series win vs Australia in any format since the 1995 ODI series.
