Amazon Prime Video announced the new seasons of Mirzapur, The Family Man and more. Yes, you have heard it right as titles will contian cross original series, original movies and co-productions that it plans to launch over the next 24 months, along with new multi-year licensing deals with some of India’s biggest and most successful studios.
After launching Prime Video Channels last year, in another significant step towards creating a video entertainment marketplace, Amazon today also launched Prime Video Store, its transactional video-on-demand (TVOD) movie rental service in India. Customers can now get early access to the latest Indian and international movies, including a rich catalogue of popular movies (award winners and franchises) from around the world on a transactional (per-movie) basis. Prime Video’s customer footprint is set to expand even further as the TVOD rental service will be available to all Prime members, as well as, anyone who isn’t a Prime member. Customers will get early rental access to movies across languages and the rental service can be accessed via the STORE tab on primevideo.com and the Prime Video app.
They have announced 41 new titles along with new multi-year licensing deals with some of India’s biggest and most successful studios. In my previous post I have shared the list of all movie/series but here I am going to discuss the most awaited new seasons of my favorite web-series. For audiences OTT is like a new cinema halls and they sure enjoy the different contents as this time they have movies/series in multiple languages that means Amazon is targeting the audiences of all over the world with language of their choices.
Now I will discuss the most awaited series announced for the release in next 24 months:
1. Mirzapur Season 3 (Web-Series)
Cast: Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi, Isha Talwar, Harshita Gaur, Rasika Duggal, Vijay Verma, Priyanshu Painyilli, Anjum Sharma and Pankaj Tripathi
Director: Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer
Details: This is my one of most awaited web-series. Super excited to see the face-off between Kaleen Bhaiya and Guddu Bhaiya. The rivalry between Kaleen Bhaiyaa and Guddu only grows more intense from here.

2. The Family Man S3 (Web-Series)

Details: This is another most awaited series I am awaiting for. Srikant Tiwari sets off on another roller coaster ride, trying to balance life as a common man and a top-secret agent battling terrorists, rebels and moral dilemmas.

3. Panchayat S2 (Web-Series)
Cast: Jeetendra Kumar, Raghubir Yadav and Neena Gupta
Director: Deepak Kumar Mishra
Details: An engineering graduate, Abhishek, is unable to find a job of his calibre. So, he ends up working for a panchayat in a remote Indian village and deals with several mundane challenges. Season 2 will have new challenges for Abhishek.

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : This is biggest announcement on digital platform and Amazon Prime Video has really impressed the OTT viewers. With this line-up I am sure multiple subscription will be purchased by audience. I am going to watch all of them as per the release but I am desperately waiting for the 3rd season of Mirzapur.
