Dream11 IPL Match 32: MI comprehensive win against KKR by 8 wickets takes them to no.1 position. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

32nd Game (Mumbai Indians and Kolkata Knight Riders)
Game Date: 16 Oct 2020
Details:
Kolkata Knight Riders Skipper Eoin Morgan won the toss and elected to bat first in the 32nd game of IPL 2020. KKR included Andre Russell, Eoin Morgan, Pat Cummins and Chris Green as four foreign players for this game.

Two change in KKR team and they included Chris Green and Shivam Mavi in place of Tom Banton and Kamlesh Nagarkoti in playing XI.

Four foreign players of MI for this game was Kieron Pollard, Nathan Coulter-Nile, Trent Boult and Quinton de Kock. One change in MI playing XI as today Nathan Coulter-Nile is playing in place of James Pattinson.

Kolkata Knight Riders scores 148/5 in their 20 overs. Terrific recovery from team although it is no intimidating total, but it’s certainly respectable on what seems like a sluggish and two-paced deck. When Russell fell, the score read 61/5 in the 11th over and there was a real threat of KKR being bundled out for a paltry total. Morgan hung in though, and Cummins produced his maiden T20 fifty, a counterpunching gem, as the unbroken 87-run stand propelled KKR to presentable waters in terms of the score. Pat Cummins scored 53* of 36 balls and Eoin Morgan scored 39* of 29 balls. For MI Rahul Chahar picks 2 wickets for 18 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Mumbai Indians comprehensively chased down the target in 16.5 by scoring 149/2. De Kock blazed away in a rapid power play period, Rohit played second fiddle, they did lose a couple of wickets in the middle overs but De cock with Pandya done the formalities and seal the yet another victor for the team. Quinton de Kock scored 78* runs 44 balls and Rohit Sharma scored 35 in 36 balls. For KKR Shivam Mavi and Varun Chakravarthy picks 1 wicket each.

KKR: 148/4 in 20 overs
MI: 149/2 in 16.5 overs

Result: MI won by 8 wickets
Man of the Match: Quinton De Kock

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : First of congratulations to MI for their consecutive wins and become top in the points table. Team is showing a complete team effort should be in bowling or batting. Today top and middle order batsmen to score runs and chase down the target successfully. But again it’s MI bowlers who’ll take credit tonight for this one as they were exceptional except last 2 overs . They need to perform the same way to defend the title this season.

Kolkata Knight Riders after winning the toss was never in the game keep losing wickets and at one time they were 61/5 in 11th over but they have managed to comeback incredibly well and unbeaten 87* partnerships between Cummins and Morgan was only positive for them in this game. In think they have made few mistakes and instead of Chris Green they should have picked Lockie Ferguson in the playing XI. Varun Chakravarthy is doing well but Kuldeep Yadav is their key wrist spinner and should be in team. Still KKR have chance to qualify for the play-offs but they need to play really as a team in coming games.
