Man of the Match: KL Rahul
Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to KXIP for their first in this IPL. In this game batsman batted really well and bowlers did exceptionally well and everything worked in favor of KXIP.
No any big partnership and wickets in regular interval cost the game for RCB. They were chasing big total so any of batsmen had to play a anchor role and should attack on bad balls. Virat Kohli dropped he catch of KL Rahul twice was also turning point of the game but can’t blame on him as it’s just a bad day for him.

– KL Rahul completes 2000 runs in 60 games in IPL and become 3rd fastest player to achieve this feat after Chris Gayle (48) and Shaun Marsh (52).
– 132* runs scored by KL Rahul is highest score by a captain and highest individual score by any Indian batsman in the IPL.
– AB de Villiers scored 691 runs against Kings XI Punjab which is highest against a team in this IPL.
– RCB dropped 24 catches last season was the most among all teams. In 2 matches they have already dropped 6 catches.
