Rajasthan Royals scored huge 243/8 in their 20 overs after batting first. Vaibhav Sooryavanshi. That’s it. That’s the summary of this Rajasthan Royals innings. What a knock from the teenager. He had already shown through the season that he does not care about the reputation of the bowler, but tonight he showed he does not fear the occasion either. A knockout game, immense pressure and he still came all guns blazing. Sunrisers Hyderabad went straight to the yorkers early on, but Sooryavanshi countered them brilliantly and immediately forced them away from their plans. Nothing worked after that – yorkers, slower balls, hard lengths – everything disappeared over the boundary. He was even threatening the fastest hundred in IPL history before eventually falling agonisingly short on 97 off just 29 balls. Once he departed, Jurel took over seamlessly and ensured the momentum never dipped. He smashed a superb 20-ball fifty of his own and kept SRH under pressure right through the middle overs. But Rajasthan will feel they left a few runs out there towards the end. The middle order had a bit of a collapse with a couple of chaotic runouts, and they could not quite finish the innings strongly, managing only 10 runs from the final 2 overs. Even so, 243 is still a formidable total in a knockout game. The interesting part? SRH chased down 228 the last time these two teams met. Can they go one better tonight? Vaibhav Sooryavanshi scored 97 runs of 39 balls and Dhruv Jurel scored 50 runs in 21 balls. For Sunrisers Hyderabad, Praful Hinge picked 3 wickets for 54 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Sunrisers Hyderabad unable to chase the target and bowled out for 196 in 19.2 overs and lost the game by 47 runs. SRH’s chase never really took off after Jofra Archer struck early and dismantled the top order inside the powerplay. Heinrich Klaasen also failed to make an impact, falling lbw to Punja while attempting an audacious stroke. Although the lower-middle order tried to counterattack, they kept losing wickets in the process. SRH eventually fizzled out and fell short by 47 runs and eliminated from Tata IPL 2026. Nitish Kumar Reddy scored 38 runs of 20 balls and Salil Arora score 35 runs of 21 balls. For Rajasthan Roayls, Jofra Archer picked 3 wickets for 58 runs in his 4 overs quota.
