Team India scored huge 297/6 in their 20 overs. An extraordinary batting performance by the Men in Blue in the final T20I of the series. One would think they would have been a little complacent having won the T20I series, but India have been even more lethal against their neighbours today. Merciless. SKY won the toss and elected to bat first on a belter and their batters including the captain have entertained the crowd to the core. The festive season is in full flow and the Indian top order batters – especially Samson and SKY lit up the stadium with their fireworks in the first half of the innings. Samson notched up a spectacular century – the second fastest in T20Is by an Indian batsman, while Suryakumar scored 75 before he departed. Both the set batters were dismissed in successive overs, however, Pandya and Parag who followed next maintained the same momentum. They attacked the bowlers right from the outset and the bowlers could feel the heat as they were put under tremendous pressure. They bowled several no balls, they dropped catches, missed run-outs as nothing seemed to go in their favour. Rishad Hossain conceded five sixes in an over as Samson punished him, while Tanzim, Mustafizur and Taskin – all of them conceded more than 50 runs in their 4 overs. India lost a few wickets towards the end, but they almost notched up 300. The entire innings was a highlight package as several boundaries and sixes were struck. India on their way to inflicting a 3-0 whitewash against the Bangla Tigers. Sanju Samson scored 111 runs of 47 balls and Suryakumar Yadav scored 75 runs of 35 balls. For Bangladesh, Tanzim Hasan Sakib picked 3 wickets for 66 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Bangladesh unable to win this game and scored 164/7 in their 20 overs and lost the game by 133 runs and series by 0-3. Everything went right for the home team. India won the toss, batted first again and posted their highest T20I total – a mammoth 297. Sanju Samson wasted little time to get going and blasted a scintillating century. SKY played a brilliant knock as well but his knock of 75(35) was completely eclipsed by Samson’s and that tells you how classy that knock was from the Indian opener. Hardik and Parag continued to hit sixes for fun as India got close to 300 in their quota of 20 overs. In reply, Bangladesh lost Emon off the very first ball. Litton Das and Towhid Hridoy batted well. The former struck five successive fours off Nitish and the latter notched up a fifty. They forged a fifty stand for the half-century stand for the fourth wicket but the result was a foregone conclusion. Towhid Hridoy scored 63* of 42 balls and Litton Das scored 42 runs of 24 balls. For Team India, Ravi Bishnoi picked 3 wickets for 30 runs in his 4 overs quota.
