In this post, I am sharing the Confirmed list of Movies and Web-Series releasing in April 2023 on OTT and Cinemas. After a least number of releases in the last month we have good number of releases in this month. Theis new month is bringing a slew of new shows and series that you simply cannot afford to miss. The release dates may vary because this information is solely based on the announcements made by the producers/production companies.
All eyes on Salman Khan starrer Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan as Bollywood has a very high hope from this movie. In the last quarter only Pathaan did the unimaginable business. Still there are many movies are premiering on digital platform instead of cinemas. For audiences OTT platforms are like a cinema hall after the lockdown, they are enjoying different contents in form of movies and web-series on different platforms. It will double bonanza for audiences as they can watch the films on OTT as well as cinemas of their choice.
Here I am sharing entire list of movies and web-series releasing this month on OTT and Theatres:
1. Gumraah (Movie)
Release Date: 7th April 2023 in cinemas
Cast: Aditya Roy Kapur, Mrunal Thakur, Ronit Bose and Vedika Pinto
Director: Vardhan Ketkar
Details: Sub Inspector Shivani Mathur is assigned to investigate a man’s murder, and she finds two look-alike suspects, who don’t know the existence of each other. Things become more complicated for Shivani when she uncovers new facts about the case.

Details: The film depicts Paraman’s struggle against the brutality of British general Robert Clive against the villagers of Sengadu.
3. Shaakuntalam (Movie)
Release date: 14th April 2023 in cinemas
Cast: Samantha, Dev Mohan, Allu Arha, Sachin Khedekar, Kabir Bedi, Prakash Raj, Aditi Balan, Ananya Nagalla and Jisshu Sengupta
Director: Gunasekhar
Details: The massively mounted film Shaakuntalam based on internationally acclaimed Kalidasa’s Sanskrit play ‘Abhijnana Shakuntalam’ and it revolves around the epic love story of Shakuntala and King Dushyant from Mahabharata.
4. Mrs Undercover (Movie)
Release Date: 14th April 2023 on Zee5
Cast: Radhika Apte, Sumeet Vyas and Rajesh Sharma
Director: Anushree Mehta
Details: An undercover agent living in disguise as a middle-class housewife is assigned a mission after 10 years. How will she take down a serial killer targeting ambitious women with her rusty skills?
5. Shehzada (Movie)
Release Date: 17th February 2023 in Cinemas & Digital premiere from 14th April on Netflix
Cast: Kartik Aaryan, Kriti Sanon, Paresh Rawal, Manisha Koirala, Rajpal Yadav, Ronit Roy and Sachin Khedekar.
Director: Rohit Dhawan
Details: Bantu is hated by his father Valmiki since he was a toddler. Samara, his boss, shows him affection and love until he discovers that the Jindals are his parents. Bantu decides to seek Jindals love and protect them from threats they facing.
6. Kabzaa (Movie)
Release Date: 17th February 2023 in Cinemas & Digital premiere from 17th April on Prime Video

7. ToothPari (Web-Series)
Release Date: 20th April 2023 on Netflix
Cast: Shantanu Maheshwari, Tanya Maniktala, Revathi, Tillotama Shome, Sikandar Kher and Adil Hussain
Director: Pratim D. Gupta
Details: When human and mystical forces work to keep them apart, a rebellious vampire with a damaged tooth falls in love with a shy dentist on the streets of Kolkata.
8. Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan (Movie)
