Vivo IPL Match 22: RCB beat DC by 1 run in super thrilling game at Narendra Modi Stadium, Ahmedabad . Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

22nd Game (Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Delhi Capitals)
Game Date: 27th April 2021
Details:
Delhi Capitals captain Rishabh Pant won the toss and elected to field first in the 22nd game of IPL 2021 against Royal Challengers Bangalore. One force change in DC playing XI as they have included Ishant Sharma in the place of Ravi Ashwin who has taken the break to take care of his family. Their 4 foreign players for the game are Marcus Stoinis, Shimron Hetmyer, Steven Smith and Kagiso Rabada.

RCB made two changes in their playing XI and rested Navdeep Saini and Dan Christian and included Rajat Patidar and Daniel Sams in playing XI. Their four foreign players of this game are AB de Villiers, Daniel Sams, Kyle Jamieson and Glenn Maxwell.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 171/5 runs their 20 overs. A game-changing final over? It was a gamble to give the final over to non-regular bowler and Stoinis ended up conceding 23 runs off it. Delhi Capitals started well with their pacers accounting for the RCB openers and reduced them to 36/2. Just when Maxwell started to look dangerous, he perished against nemesis Amit Mishra. The veteran leggie removed the Aussie all-rounder for the fifth time in IPL. Post that, Patidar and de Villiers steadied the ship with a brisk half-century. Avesh Khan was brilliant with his yorkers in the death overs and when it looked like RCB would end with a par score, the 20th over has probably ensured an above-par. Just AB things! Right then, 172 to win for DC. AB de Villiers scored 75* of 42 balls and Rajat Patidar scored 31 of 22 balls. For DC all 5 bowlers pick 1 wicket each except Stoinis.

Delhi Capitals unable to chased the target and lost the game just 1 run in the last ball thriller. Just another one. Another boringly close encounter. Another everyday humdinger. It didn’t start off very well for Delhi, particularly with their in-form openers falling cheaply for a change. Rishabh Pant, the newly-appointed captain, went against his instincts and tried to implement some damage control – but perhaps overdid it a little in what is still a nascent stage of his captaincy. Stoinis gave them a bit of momentum before Hetmyer came in and nearly matched AB shot for shot in an extraordinary, clinical display of punishing the non-yorkers. A 21-run 18th over brought Delhi roaring back into the game, but the incredible Harshal Patel and Siraj 2.0 held their nerve and ensured that the CSK debacle was nothing more than an aberration. Skipper Rishabh Pant scored 58* of 48 balls andShimron Hetmyer scored 53* of 25 balls. For RCB Harshal Patel picks 2 wickets for 37 runs in 4 overs quota.

RCB: 171/5 in 20 overs
DC: 170/4 in 20 overs

Result: Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 1 run.
Man of the Match: AB de Villiers
