IPL 2020 auction took place in Kolkata for upcoming season yesterday. A total 338 players where in the list for remaining 73 slots and total 62 players were sold out to different teams. It included 33 Indians player and 29 overseas players. In this list, we have 30 uncapped (Players who have not played internationals) and 32 capped players.

Australian pacer Pat Cummins become the most expensive (15.5cr) overseas player in the history of IPL. He is also 2^nd highest paid player in the history including both (Indian and Overseas) after Yuvraj Singh. Another Australian player who topped the chart in this auction is Glenn Maxwell for a hefty amount of 10.75cr to Kings X!.

For me most surprising auction apart from Pat Cummins was for South-African all-rounder Chris Morris (10cr), West Indies fast bowler Sheldon Cottrell (8.5cr), Australian fast bowler Nathan Coulter-Nile (8cr), an uncapped player CV Varun (4cr) without playing a single from last March and last but not the least is Piyush Chawla for 6.75cr.

 Surprisingly there were many players who were remain unsold in this auction and I will share the list of them too in my next post. Below is the complete list of players who were sold in IPL 2020 auction with their base price, sold price and their team for upcoming IPL.
