Bigg Boss Season 16 finally premieres on Colors TV and it was nothing less than spectacular and extravagant. It is one of the most popular reality show of the television history. Salman Khan who is hosting the show from season 4 is back again as host. For the first time ever, a new segment-Interactive India aired on Sunday and Weekend Ka Vaar on Fridays and Saturdays instead of Saturdays and Sundays as in previous seasons. The concept for this season of Bigg Boss is “Upside Down“, which means everything will be opposite from the previous seasons. After months of anticipation, the viewers are all set to witness the extravagant house tonight along with the revealing of the contestants of the new season. In week 2, three contestants would be wild card entries.
Now I will share the list of contestants who enters in Bigg Boss house as per their entries:
1. Nimrit Kaur Ahluwalia
After participating in beauty pageants, the law graduate moved to TV shows. She became popular due Choti Sardarni series. She was named as the first captain of the house as she was the first contestant to enter the show. She was asked to assign duties and allot beds to the contestants who entered after her. Archana Gautam and Nimrit had a small fight on premiere day over change of bed.

2. Abdu Rozik
The second contestant of Bigg Boss 16 is Abdu Rozik. Singer and boxer from Tajikistan who is claimed to be the shortest singer in the world. He is also singing in Salman Khan upcoming movie Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. The 19-year-old arrived with a bang and revealed that he is here with full confidence and would love to be a caption and tell people what to do.

3. Ankit Gupta
Udaariyan’s Fateh aka Ankit Gupta is a 3rd contestant of Bigg Boss 16. The actor who boasts of a huge social media fan following, has done shows like Sadda Haq, Balika Vadhu, Begusarai and Mayavi Maling. It was Udaariyan that made him a household name. He quit the show post leap.

4. Priyanka Chahar Choudhary
Priyanka is a 26-year-old actress who has done several popular music videos. But her claim to fame has been Udaariyan where she played the role of Tejo Sandhu. She has also done TV shows like Gathbandhan and Yeh Hai Chahatein.

5. MC Stan
MC Stan who is born as Altaf Tadavi aka Altaf Shaikh is a Pune-based rapper. He has dropped two albums Insaan and Tadipaar. He is all set to entertain the audience in his style and it’s going to be fun to watch him. Introducing him on the show, Salman himself said that he has hosted for over 12 years but ‘aisa item pehli baar aaya hain yahan pe’.

6. Archana Gautam
Archana Gautam is a politician and bikini model, who is now in the Bigg Boss house to gain all the popularity. She won the title of Miss Uttar Pradesh in 2014. However, that wasn’t all, she then received many awards when she tried her luck in bikini modelling. Archana revealed on the stage that she won in the last Uttar Pradesh elections in 2021. It will be interesting to watch the 27-year-old on the controversial reality show.

Shalin Bhanot is a popular name in television. The actor has done several popular TV shows including Saat Phere: Saloni Ka Safar, Dill Mill Gayye, Suryaputra Karn and Naagin 4. Soundarya Sharma is beauty with brains. The actress has done Bachelor of Dental studies and pursued residency in Delhi hospitals. It is then that she gave auditions and the acting bug caught her. 11. Sumbul Touqeer Khan
Sumbul Touqeer rose to fame with Imlie where she played the titular role and was seen with Fahmaan Khan.
