Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 165/6 runs in their 20 overs. Once more RCB do not get the finish they were hoping for. Last two overs only 9 runs and they end up with a below par total. Padikkal went for nought but Kohli and Bharat made the powerplay count. The pair added 68 runs for the second wicket and set a platform, Maxwell kept the scoreboard ticking with his reverse sweeps but just when they had to kick on and reach 180, they fell apart. Kohli and Maxwell were dismissed soon after reaching their respective fifties and AB was bounced out by Bumrah. Boult too followed it up with a top last over and the end result is a chaseable total for Mumbai. The surface is good for batting with the odd ball stopping. One team will break their losing streak in the UAE leg. Glenn Maxwell scored 56 of 37 balls and Skipper Virat Kohli scored 51 of 42 balls. For MI Jasprit Bumrah pick 3 wickets for 36 runs in his 4 overs quota.
Innings Break!
Sensational last two overs from @mipaltan has kept #RCB below 180. #MumbaiIndians need 166 runs to win.

Mumbai Indians unable to chase down the target and all out for 111 runs in 18.1 overs and lost the game by 54 runs. This is 3rd consecutive loss for MI and now they need to win remaining games for their chances. RCB end their losing streak in the UAE which stood at 7 before this game. This is a game won by the bowlers. Especially Harshal Patel. With supporting acts from the others. Mumbai just lost their way after Ishan Kishan‘s powerful drive stung Rohit’s left-hand. From then on things went South. Rohit holed out in the deep after getting medical attention and then it all depended on Pollard but Harshal killed the game off with a hat-trick that included the big Trinidadian. Eventually a 54-run loss means a blow to the NRR as well and now Mumbai are in serious danger of not making the playoffs. RCB meanwhile will be happy to overturn their 3-match losing streak, at the same time consigning Mumbai to a similar predicament. Skipper Rohit Sharma scored 43 of 28 balls and Quinton de Kock scored 24 of 23 balls. For RCB Harshal Patel pick 4 wickets for 17 runs in his 3.1 overs.
