RCB won by 6 runs against SRH-cricketmovie.com

Vivo IPL Match 6: Sensational 6 runs win for RCB over SRH in IPL 2021. Now I will share the details of this IPL game match in my way.

6th Game (Royal Challengers Bangalore Vs Sunrisers Hyderabad)
Game Date: 14th April 2021
Details:
Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner won the toss and elected to field first in the 6th game of IPL 2021. SRH included David Warner, Jonny Bairstow, Rashid Khan and Jason Holder as four foreign players for this game. Jason Holder and Shahbaz Nadeem is playing today and they have replaced Nabi and Sandeep Sharma.

Four foreign players of RCB for this game was Glenn Maxwell, AB de Villiers, Daniel Christian and Kyle Jamieson. One change in their squad as well and Padikkal is back and he replaces Rajat Patidar.

Royal Challengers Bangalore scored 149/8 in their 20 overs. That’s a competitive total posted by RCB, quite similar to the score posted by MI last night. But do they have enough bowling fire power to defend it down, like the way Mumbai did? We shall find that out later. Talking about the RCB, Maxwell was the top scorer for them and he has taken them to respectable total with this responsible knock. He took his time to get his eye in, and he’ll be pretty pleased with the effort. Apart from Kohli, none of the batsmen got going for the Challengers, but it was a commendable bowling effort by Hyderabad. Rashid Khan bagged a couple of wickets and was pretty economical. And Holder bowled a pretty impressive spell as well. Glenn Maxwell scored 59 of 41 balls and Skipper Virat Kohli scored 33 of 29 balls. For SRH Jason Holder pick 3 wickets for 30 runs in his 4 overs quota.

Sunrisers Hyderabad unable to chase the target and score only 143/9 in their 20 overs and lost the game by 6 runs. A top win for RCB and they go atop the points table. People were questioning Shahbaz’s selection and he’s won them the game with a three-wicket over. Elation in the red camp, while Laxman looks down in the SRH dugout. Warner wanted one or two to bat deep. He did lead from the front but he opened the gate himself trying to take Jamieson on and RCB tightened the grip on the door. Then Shahbaz ripped it open in just one over. The most disappointing thing for SRH would be not to learn the lessons from the KKR loss yesterday. All they had to do was knock it around for 7-8 more balls, keep wickets and the pressure plays on the bowlers too. Bairstow, Pandey, Samad did the cardinal sin of playing cross-batted shots to away-spinning balls and let their team down. RCB were just smart from there on to bowl cutters into the wicket and make life hell for batters. Well RCB’s bowlers almost made a huge mistake trying the glorious yorker than sticking to what was working but they were quick to do damage control after a couple of journeys to the fence. Skipper David Warner scored 54 runs 37 balls and Manish Pandey scored 38 in 39 balls. For RCB Shahbaz Ahmed picks 3 wickets for 7 runs in his 2 overs.

RCB: 149/8 in 20 overs
SRH: 143/9 in 20 overs

Result: Royal Challengers Bangalore won by 6 runs.
Man of the Match: Glenn Maxwell

Durgesh Tiwary’s View : Congratulations to RCB for their 2nd win in a row. Not a total RCB expected to put on board after batting first but good thing is Maxwell is back in form and scored a half century after 2016. It will all about RCB bowlers who performed exceptionally well to defend the total. Hats off for Shahbaz Ahmed who pick 3 wickets in one over and changed the game completely.

For SRH bowling is never concern in any season because they have best bowling attack as compare to other teams but team don’t have finishers who can finish the game. At one time they just needed 34 runs with 8 wickets in hand still lost the game by 6 runs. I think SRH need to include Kane Williamson in the playing XI to strong their batting unit.
